Preserving the City on a Hill

I recently began reading “None Dare Call it Treason”, by John Stormer.

I am finding jewels and nuggets on every page. While the author specifically targets Communism, the modern euphemisms ‘Democratic Socialism’ (DS) and ‘Progressivism’ have served the propagators well in convincing a preconditioned populous into acceptance of Marxist philosophy.

One such ‘nugget’ this morning reads, “Marx was a self proclaimed scientist. His ‘scientific’ theories explained the entire history of man and his future…Being ‘scientists’, communists [i.e. DS/Progressives] have certain basic ‘scientific’ laws which underlie their beliefs and teaching. They include: ‘There is no God. When communists [DS/progressives] deny God, they simultaneously deny every virtue and every value which originates with God. There are no moral absolutes, no right and wrong, the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount are invalid.’”

[I nearly laugh out loud every time a Marxist uses quotes from Jesus of Nazareth to validate government redistributing material goods.]

“…Marx taught that man was entirely an evolutionary animal, without significant individual value or eternal life….Man is an economically determined animal. Qualities of human intelligence, personality, emotional and religious life merely reflect man’s economic environment. The evil a man does is just a reflection of his environment.”

Marx’s ‘dialectical materialism’ philosophy is based in the idea that conflict is the engine of change and if the “material needs of man are satisfied, then there will be no conflict resulting from capitalistic evils of greed, profit taking, avarice, and hate, which would lead to the lack of need for laws, or the need for a police force…Man’s nature would be magically transformed. Each would work according to his ability. Each would desire to receive only according to his needs.”

That “conflict” theory shows up in Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”, when he adjures the “Organizer” that, “Nothing is sacred…He is challenging, insulting, agitating, discrediting. He stirs unrest.” (p. 73) “In the beginning the organizer’s first job is to create the issues or problems.” (p.119) “The first step in community organization is community disorganization.” (Barack Obama worked in Chicago as a Community Organizer before he ran for the Illinois State House. He also taught Mr. Alinsky’s methods as a Professor.) Alinsky goes on, that when society calls the Organizer “an ‘agitator’ they are completely correct, for that is, in a word, your function–to agitate to the point of conflict.” (p. 116-117)

Any of this sounding familiar yet?

“Communism is commonly believed to rise out of poverty.” Yet the movement is never spawned in the fields or the sweatshops, but in the elite halls of Academia. The historical push for Communism has come from states and cities with the highest per capita income, not the poorest. The poor are always used as pawns by the elites to accomplish their objectives.

“Communism promises Utopia. It has delivered mass starvation, poverty, and police state terror to its own people and promoted world wide strife and hatred by putting race against race, class against class, and religion against religion. Treason, terror, torture, and Moscow [Beijing] directed wars of ‘national liberation’ spread communist ‘brotherhood, peace, and social justice’ around the world.”

Vladimir Lenin, the self proclaimed Democratic Socialist, understood that in order to achieve the communist Utopia of Karl Marx, weapons must be used to control the people, and that opposition to the movement must be eliminated.

History

It has been rightfully said that those who fail to learn from it are doomed to repeat it.

History is the most important subject that can be taught to young people. It is so important that dictators and revolutionaries for centuries have edited it to suit their own designs. Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Hitler, just name a few, all knew that education/indoctrination of youth is how a society is changed long term, and how power is assured for future generations.

Even Michelle Obama said, “Barack knows we have to change our history, our traditions…to move into a better place…and he is the man to do it”.

But where does this “fertile ground”, this “golden opportunity” come from that allows a false narrative to convince a society that it is fundamentally corrupt and desperately wicked? That there is no hope for reform and must be radically transformed, even as Barack said, “fundamentally transformed”.

It does not begin when radical revolutionary Marxists tweet a hashtag and found an organization to take to the streets in protest, and rioting because of a cop shooting a young man who was trying to take his weapon. It doesn’t begin with a political party adopting revolutionary policies.

No, the process that leads to rewriting and replacing one historical narrative with another happens when a society falls for an Evolutionary theology which tells them they are better than their ancestors. Darwinism.

And speaking of Charley, how many “Woke” “Social Justice Warriors” out there today know that evolutionary theory is fundamentally racist? That Evolutionary thought actually sought to justify Slavery using Darwin and Marx’s “Science”? Actually, they wouldn’t even have to read his most infamous work; just the full title:

“The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life”.

Cheapen human existence and remove the Creator from the equation and teach kids they are equal to animals…they may just start acting like it.

The spiritual dearth resulting from two generations of revisionist history, secular humanism, and relativism has left America adrift in a stormy sea of pluralism and confusion, while being pursued by pirates, with no lighthouse to provide a bearing and no wind of common purpose in her sails. Foreign philosophies and ideologies have ripped the rudder off and unchained the anchor. God has been replaced by a godless government and a new religious “Cult of Woke”, while a politically correct media is playing the part of a “false prophet”. The ship has no captain and the crew is devouring the remaining provender. The passengers have been sleeping below decks and rats are infesting the ship with disease.

American Dream

A good friend of mine recently included a point in a speech that “The American Dream is still valid.” In America you don’t have to let your environment define you. That has been the overarching draw of America to the rest of the world; the uniquely “American” ideal, for the last 250 years. A place where the individual, the minority, is valued and preserved so that the “collective” may succeed. That’s the difference; that’s why people come here from around the world. The Marxist ideal places the Collective as the priority, and the individual’s duty is to the Collective.

“City on a Hill”

While President Ronald Reagan is credited often for that phrase, he was quoting John Winthrop from a sermon in 1630: “For we must consider that we shall be as a city upon a hill. The eyes of all people are upon us. So that if we shall deal falsely with our God in this work we have undertaken, and so cause Him to withdraw His present help from us, we shall be made a story and a by-word through the world.”

If America is lost, the entire world loses. In the words of Lincoln, America is still “the last best hope for Earth”. Today, the only hope for her survival is her people turn to the only source of hope; Faith in the God of our Fathers.

I have said before:

“When the Land behind the Great Statue looks like the rest of the world, to where shall those huddled masses flee?”

Our responsibility as Americans to the rest of the world is not to facilitate their transformation. It is but to preserve a Haven of Liberty to where they may find refuge and prosper themselves, as Americans, one nation, under God.

Swamp Hunting

(Please excuse the title 1915 on your email notice. I published before I realized I hadn’t titled the post!)

In another life, many years ago, I spent more than a few nights running the woods, chasing after baying hounds and stumbling over deadfalls, crashing through underbrush, lunging over creek banks, and floundering through water that was deeper than it appeared in a flashlight beam. Long nights of getting wet, cut, descended upon by Game Wardens, bruised, lost, scraped, running until breathless, and laughing at each other in the calamity. ‘Coon hunting.

I had a dog that was marginal. Traded a crippled horse plus $50 cash for that dog and a box for the bed of my pickup truck. I was just a dumb kid, and would have been money ahead to keep the horse. But ‘coons were bringing good money in those days ($40 apiece in the late ‘70’s) and my buddies and I had nothing better to do after dark, so we needed a dog, but had very little money to spend on one. Oh, Ole Sally had been quite a dog in her day, and garnished a reputation of being “true blue” (although she was a Black and Tan). That was before they took her to the swamps in Louisiana and something happened that soured her, unbeknown to me at the time. (Hmm, maybe a gator. Who knows what distractions and scurrilous psychological maladies be found in a swamp at night? Probably hit the trail of a slimy US Senator who shape-shifted into a TV “journalist” who stuck a video camera in her face and called her a xenophobic Procyon Lotor terrorista…or something.)

I traded for Ole Sal and we commenced to hunt. More often than not, she’d trail junk (unwanted game such as deer, coyote or worse, a possum). The problem with a possum is they’ll climb a tree and when the dog hits “tree” it looks like a real “tree”, until you shine up that ole grinnin’ possum. Occasionally, we’d actually get a ‘coon.

Many times she’d “slick tree”. That is, she would bay “trail”, and tree on a clean tree (no game in it). In other words, her experience with the shape shifter in the swamp affected her mind, and she would put on a show, get the hunters all excited, lead us on a fast paced, helter-skelter run, and when finally she showed “tree”, there was nothing there.

The last few months in Washington DC have looked an awful lot like one of my ‘coon hunts. Lots of excitement and anticipation, imaginations and speculations. Lots of commentary and expectation while running the trail, only to find a “slick tree”, or worse yet, that ole grinning possum peering back at them. (For some reason, I want to name him “Harry”.)

But, at least they’re on the hunt. Rumors of “Russian Collusion” finally were trailed down to “Russian Interference” in the election process, and everyone should be concerned about that ole grinning Possum. Yep, he tried to get into both parties hen houses, but little Johnny was snookered into opening the coop door, and the old grinning egg sucker carted off a whole treasure trove of emails, some of which implicated Johnny’s candidate, who had tried to set up her own henhouse in a closet ignoring the warnings about those ole snooping possums, and the rules for government communicae.

Accusations of the new President colluding with the old Possum to sabotage Hillary Clinton’s campaign have dissipated into a “slick tree”. In fact, the old soured Hound himself has repeatedly said so.

Leaving the hunting analogy for just a bit here, let’s take a different view of this whole debacle.

For the months since the election, November of 2016, we have been constantly bombarded with “Trump colluded with the Russians to sabotage Hillary’s campaign”.

First of all, why would the Russians prefer an unknown, a loose cannon, someone who is unpredictable, but has made campaign promises to increase spending on US Military interests and expand our military capabilities, presumably to at least GW Bush’s level, and possibly to Reagan’s era? It doesn’t make sense. With Hillary Clinton in the White House, any observer, especially the old Russian possum, would safely assume a continuation of Obama’s foreign policy, worthless red lines and abdication of the Middle East and the Caucuses area to Russia, US Military cuts, a do nothing attitude concerning Russian expansionism into Crimea and Ukraine, not to mention Russia’s military build-up over the last 20 years. Why would Russia want to risk a free rein and oppose Hillary? After all, she brought that big red button to Geneva to share with them!

Secondly, and more importantly, who was guarding the henhouse? Whose administration was on duty? Whose responsibility was it to make sure that old Possum didn’t get into the henhouse?

That old sour Hound has been leading a pack of yokels down a bad trail and stuck ‘em on a slick tree! The media and the Congress has been had, and so have the American People!

The real culprit here is not Donald Trump, or his campaign. Trump had no power or responsibility to keep the Russians out, (assuming that’s truly what happened, a “Russian hack”). That’s a national security issue.

That is the responsibility of the President of the United States and the US Government; to secure and defend the interests of the United States and her citizens. The real culprit here is the Obama Administration, yet no hounds are on the trail! It was the Obama Administration; James Comey, FBI, Susan Rice, NSA, John Brennen, CIA (who incidentally is known to have supported a Communist Party USA Presidential candidate), Ashton Carter, DOD, Jeh Johnson, Homeland Security, John Kerry, Secretary of State, Director of Intelligence James Clapper, and finally Loretta Lynch, US Dept of Justice Attorney General.

It was this bunch who were supposed to be “watching the henhouse”, and keeping the Russians under watchful eye, denying them entry at every turn. What were they doing? Well, we have been given enough evidence to suggest and confirm that the FBI was monitoring telephone conversations involving Trump campaign members months before the election, as revealed in the NY Times when the felonious “unmasking” report was published. Why weren’t the FBI blocking the efforts of the Russians, or at least notifying the respective campaigns that Russian probes were being made so take the necessary precautions? Perhaps there was a little “fishing” going on; let’s let them in and see if we can tie the Trump people up in a collusion scandal. Hmm? Well, it’s about as valid speculation as some of the other stupidity I’ve heard. But of course, then President Obama got really tough with Putin and told him to “cut it out”. That should have taken care of the old Possum.

So when is Congress going to subpoena Loretta Lynch and grill her about her request to Jim Comey (which he said made him very uncomfortable) to use the language being used by the Hillary campaign and refer to his probe on her as a “matter” and not as an “investigation”? How about questioning AG Lynch about her meeting with Bill Clinton on the tarmac, during that investigation, just a few days prior to James Comey’s now infamous and unprecedented unilateral press conference where he listed Hillary’s misconduct of handling classified emails, then recommended no indictments to DOJ.

Where were all the shape shifters back then? Where were all the tough journalists looking to hold government accountable? Where?!

About a week ago I was called by the BBC. Yes, that international media monster, that reports with the oh, so cool accent. This was a follow up of a 3 hour on site interview I gave them back in March about why I voted for Donald Trump. I explained to them that we were tired of the sour hounds baying at every dim trail and junk game. Well, I didn’t use the ‘coon hunting metaphor, but in my best English and manners, I told them Trump was a result of years of propagandist party loyal media.

This time the British gentleman requested a live radio interview about Mr. Trump pulling the US out of the Paris Climate Accord. The time he gave didn’t work for me for the live phone conversation, but I agreed to do a recorded response earlier in the day. That interview did not air, and I’ve not had any luck getting a link to it. I’ll give an account of that conversation in a future post, but I should have gone live.

I was called again Thursday morning by a British lady who asked me if she could call me after the Comey testimony and get my reaction. “Well”, I said, “I won’t be watching.”

“Oh, you have no interest?”, she queried in a lovely accent. I responded, “Not that I don’t have the interest, Ma’am, but I’ve got to make a living. I’ve work to do.”

Well, I think she was aghast that I wasn’t going to wreck my work day to watch James Comey torpedo the Trump Administration. I didn’t tell her I was weary of being slick treed.

I wound up giving that dog back to her original owner.

Man, it’s getting’ boggy down in here…

The Revolution has Begun

This post was originally published in 2012 by the title “The Coming Revolution”. Updates have been added where appropriate.

I have said for 20 years that the next American Revolution or Civil War will be started by the Left. Today, more than ever, that belief has solidified and is fast becoming apparent. In February of 2012 I wrote: “In my opinion, the next elected President will either be George Washington or Joseph Stalin. In surveying the field of candidates at this point, I see no George Washington. However, “Joe” could already be in office and consolidating his power.”

George was not to be found in 2016 either. However, the candidate chosen was definitely not in the mold of the sitting President, or any preceding for that matter, and a result of a cumulative effort by media, an embedded Leftist agenda in government, education, and party elites continuing the move toward collectivism in the United States of America.

The Bolsheviks are inside the gates and the near objective is the death of “capitalism”. In 2012 Occupy Wall Streeter’s (OWS) were chanting for the death of capitalism. (Heck, they were chanting for the deaths of CEO’s, cops, and tea partiers, with some of them advocating the return of the guillotine.)

In 2014 this movement was transferred to another radical group founded by Marxist revolutionaries, Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi, which they called #Black Lives Matter. Garza is a Marxist political activist who’s heroes include the Marxist revolutionary, former Black Panther, and convicted cop-killer Assata Shakur. Garza is likewise a great admirer of Angela Davis (Communist Party USA and former Black Panther). Cullors has ties to the 60’s revolutionary terrorist group, Weather Underground, and led 600 Black Lives Matter protesters to Ferguson, MO in 2014 following the death of Michael Brown after he struggle with a police officer, trying to take his weapon. All three BLM founders share a Marxist ideology and work for front groups of the “Freedom Road Socialist Organization” (FRSO), a self-proclaimed “revolutionary socialist and Marxist-Leninist organization” which touts itself as a “new Communist movement” with its roots in the 60’s and 70’s revolutionary groups; groups like the League of Revolutionary Struggle, the Revolutionary Union, the Communist Labor Party, the October League, the Communist Workers Party, the Black Workers Congress, just to name a few. The FRSO website is wide open about its intentions, nothing covert there, and touts Communist revolutionaries including Mao Zedong, arguably the worst mass murderer in history killing 70 million in his takeover of China. But do not be mistaken. This movement is not about race. It is pure ideology. Without a victim class, real or perceived, revolutions can’t get off the ground, and if victims cannot be found, they will be produced.

In 2015 the revolution moved to the university campus. Disruptions occurred in a highly organized manner at most major colleges, all with the same theme of “social justice”, removal of law enforcement, and other demands including the suppression of open debate. Freedom of speech died on the American college campus.

While the movement is reminiscent of the 1960’s-70’s radical revolutionary movement which paralleled, then infiltrated and co-opted a legitimate civil rights movement, this is even more serious, more deadly, and more dangerous than that. More dangerous in that the radicals have been allowed to infiltrate every institution, and are now in the chief seats of power. More serious because during the 50’s and 60’s there was legitimate need for civil rights reform in both American society and in government. More deadly in that the stability of American society has been successfully fragmented over the last 40 years due to multiculturalism and pluralism, and with unchecked immigration policies over the last few years. The great “melting pot” of American culture has become a TV dinner, divided, cold, and hardened to critical thinking and introspection, and identity politics rules the day.

History proved the Bolsheviks to be mere pawns in the eventuality of Stalin’s rise to power against even Lenin’s wishes, and many of them perished in Stalin’s “purges”.

Collectivism

There is an ideology that has been around in America for a long time now, but has never had the momentum and support from our institutions that it currently enjoys. That ideology is collectivism. It has existed in varying degrees around the world in political movements like socialism, communism, and fascism. In its mild form it opposes capitalism, seeks to redistribute wealth, limit private property ownership, all through government regulation. (“Social Justice” is another term that is frequently used by collectivists.) This is “social democracy”. We are becoming very close to that now, if not already there.

Collectivism always puts the group needs before the needs/rights of the individual. The ultimate in a secular collectivist society is Communism, where the government owns or controls everything from food production to education. It manages information flow through news media, the arts, and academia. The duty of each citizen is to the state. The natural result of this philosophy is the weak perish, and the middle class disappears. The ultimate goal of total equality is nearly met, and for all the rhetoric of “social justice”, well…everyone lives in poverty except the ruling elite.

Islam is another collectivist society in which the rights/needs of the individual are not important, but demands each citizen serve the collective in order to maintain it. The only practical difference between Islam and Communism is that Islam is a theocracy, in which all aspects of life and society are controlled by the ideology, dispensed upon the collective, by the collective, if a theocratic government is not available. This is why Islam has allied itself with the American Left, a curious alliance indeed. Again, the middle class is virtually none existent, while the ruling elite prosper.

America, conversely, was never set up to be collectivist in its ideology. The founding documents, The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were designed to protect the rights of the individual from the state. The stark difference from America and the rest of the world is that our Declaration points out that “all men are created equal” and are “endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,–That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.” [Emphasis added]

See, America was never intended to be a “Top Down” authoritarian government. It is not a Democracy, where the mob rules, but a Representative Republic, governed by law instituted by the People, and Representatives of their own choosing. In the words of Lincoln, “government of the People, by the People, and for the People.”

America has always been about the Liberty of Mankind to choose his own destiny, his responsibility to his God, and his duty to preserve these things for his descendants and his fellow citizens. It has proven that the success of the collective depends upon the liberty of the individual. When the individual is allowed to prosper and flourish, the community prospers together. That was the difference between the early Colonies of Jamestown and Plymouth. Jamestown had been a “collectivist” or communal endeavor in which all property was held in common and all needs came from the common purse, or storehouse. This leads to the “freeloaders” who contribute little or nothing and consume as much as everyone else. Jamestown died. Plymouth began as such but William Bradford recognized the flawed system and allotted a parcel of land to each family to provide for their own needs and any surplus could be sold or given to a neighbor. Capitalism.

It is commonly misunderstood among the “Social Justice” crowd and many average Americans, that charity is squelched by capitalism. Quite the contrary, capitalism begets charity, especially when the prosperous citizen believes in his Creator and therefore has a sense of duty to his fellow-man which always results in a higher rate of contribution to community than an over reaching government taking from the prosperous and “redistributing the wealth” because the government requires its cut for inefficient administrative bureaucracy.

An authoritarian government can never create a benevolent citizenry. It can only dispossess its citizens to meet its own needs. A benevolent citizenry is created by allowing that society to prosper from within, to the point of plenty, when then by the dictates of conscience, not government, each person may choose charity, thereby raising the standard of living for all. William Bradford proved it out.

The argument could easily be made that “Godless Capitalism” is evil. I would not disagree; but would remind you that “Godless anything” is evil, including Godless Government, Godless Politicians, Godless Education, Godless Finance, and Godless Media. But the striking thing here is this: Those who are decrying the evils of “Godless Capitalism” are of the very persuasion that ejected God from our institutions!!

Revolution Requires Chaos

If you haven’t picked up Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” by now, you simply must read it, although it will nearly be a review of the last 8 years. Professor Barack Obama, our past Chief Community Organizer, taught Alinsky’s methods to his students. Alinsky’s fundamental premise is found on page 116, “The first step in community organization is community disorganization. The disruption of the present organization is the first step towards community organization.” He then advises the organizer, When you are labeled an “an agitator, they are completely correct, for that is, in one word, your function—to agitate to the point of conflict.”(p. 117)

Alinsky only left out one piece of the puzzle. What to do with what you break. Breaking the targeted system is easy; rebuilding something that is productive isn’t. But his acknowledgment at the beginning of the book should have given us a clue. To: “…the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom—Lucifer.”

America stands at the most pivotal point in her history since the Kansas-Nebraska Act (which resulted in the Civil War). We are polarized. We are factionalized. Our history has been rewritten to minimize the importance of our Judeo-Christian foundation. Our institutions have been purged of morality that comes from that foundation. Our language is adulterated with vulgarities which are most commonplace in our youth. Our youth have been hijacked by powers that redefine what family is and strip them of any faith in God that was instilled as a child, and replaced with a collectivist philosophy, “from each according to ability, to each according to need”. That’s Karl Marx, by the way. It’s also most of the leadership in the current American Democrat Party, unions, our education system, and the media, and yes, it’s beginning to take root in the Republican ranks as well.

This did not begin with Barack Obama, and it will not end now that he is out of office. The Revolutionaries now have a personified objective, a target to rally the followers, most of which are unwitting (Lenin’s term was “Polyezniys” or useful idiots), in Donald Trump. Vehement protests, fear-mongering, political stonewalling and talk of impeachment within the first 5 weeks is a harbinger for the next four years, unless the unthinkable were to happen, (i.e JFK), and don’t think it is not being discussed in the ranks of the revolution. Where just a few short months ago, the White House was viewed by the media and the ranks of the revolutionaries as an ally, now it is “public enemy number one“, and if you thought it was popular to protest the Bush administration, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. It’s already become the new American pastime. (Hearken back to the Tea Party demonstrations against Obama’s policies, and anyone who protested then was simply a “racist”. Now, just as with Bush, it’s “patriotic“.)

Even if they were to be successful in removing Mr. Trump from the White House, Mike Pence, a true conservative and a highly principled man, would make an excellent President, but the Revolutionaries won’t like his policies any better than Trump’s. They haven’t stopped to consider that, but it doesn’t matter. As Alinsky said, “The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the Revolution“. There is blood in the water, and the frenzy has begun.

Yes, Mr. Obama, I believe you have “fundamentally transformed America”. Made good on that campaign promise. But you can’t take all the credit yourself. It’s been in the works for a long time.

The Historic lesson? Collectivist revolutions always take you farther than you want to go.

The Spiritual lesson? Godless revolutions always lead straight to Hell….

Guest Column: The Magical World Of Political Speech

As a novice “wordsmith” myself, I have noticed the increase in carefully selected words and phrases by politicians over the last 25 years or so. This language is always intended to deceive as well as deflect and shelter from possible repercussions in the future while not avoiding posed media attempts at reporting, and give legal cover in the event of actual moves to be held accountable for either word, or deed.

I keep the above George Orwell quote near me at all times. It serves as a reminder to me to decipher political speech whenever I see or hear it.
Political speech contains magical properties. It mesmerizes the masses because it is more illusory than a David Copperfield grand finale.
But political speech is dangerous. While it sounds innocuous, it is as deadly as a bear trap hidden beneath the leaves or a siren singing her song. It can grab you suddenly, or it can ensnare you subtly. Either way, you learn too late that you have been conned and there is no escape.
The magic of political speech is not happenstance. There are change agents at work in the inner sanctums of power whose job it is to create special words and phrases that are used in political speech. Those words and phrases are repeated over and over by the elites in order to dumb us down and create a conditioned response.

The process of dumbing down and the conditioning of the mind to create a nation of good, obedient subjects loyal and subservient to political authority and to the legitimacy of the political order begins early on. We are now several generations into the plan by the elites to create a Nation of state-worshiping ignoramuses taught pseudo-history and inculcated with a loyalty to and dependence upon big government. For many — if not most — of the Nation’s young people below the age of 25, government provided them with most of their meals while the majority of their days were spent submitting to government authority figures (teachers/principals/school officers) in rigid, structured environments that dissuade original thought.

Also aiding the elites and politicians in this effort is an army of “journalists” who never stray far from the official line of the State apparatus. They are eager to spread their lies and half-truths because that ensures them their seats near (or even inside, in the case of the Barack Obama Administration) the halls of power. On that rare occasion one of them strays too far from the party line, retribution is swift and harsh (see Helen Thomas and Sharyl Attkisson). This discourages dissent.

Politicians have learned that the more lies they tell, the more lies we believe. And the more lies we believe, the more dependent we become. Conversely, the fewer myths, lies and deceptions we succumb to, the less dependent we are and, therefore, the more liberty we enjoy.
I long ago learned the power of propaganda. I have watched as otherwise intelligent and thoughtful people have had their minds so manipulated by political speech that they acted contrary to their own best interests without a second thought. It seems that organized and sophisticated propaganda is able to operate outside the threshold of intelligence. In other words, without some imperative to trigger inquiry, very intelligent people buy into lies and myths the same as the general population. The lies and myths then become conventional wisdom. The human mind rarely accepts a challenge to conventional wisdom.

When confronted with a challenge to the established belief system, the mind closes off. When this happens, the individual employs avoidance behavior, writes off the new knowledge as conspiracy theory and labels it as kooky, insane or stupid. The information is then dismissed, never to be considered again, even when the facts support the new knowledge. Psychologists call this quirk of human nature cognitive dissonance. It means the rejection of information not in harmony with previous beliefs.

The esoteric purpose of propaganda is to extract wealth and labor illegally as concealed involuntary servitude or to steal the people’s liberty right out from under them, and even have the populace to thank the thieves for doing so, especially if it is done under the guise of keeping the people “safe” or to “save the children” from some danger, real or imagined. Those who use propaganda to persuade the populace against their best interests create myths and sell them as benefits.

The elites also use distractions for this purpose. These distractions serve to draw the people’s attention away from the important issues and focus it on the mundane and the trivial, much as the illusionist uses sleight of hand. These distractions can be events that occur naturally or by chance, which are then seized upon by the elites. But sometimes the distractions are artificial creations — also called “false flag events” — designed and triggered for the specific purpose of refocusing the attention of the populace. (Bill Clinton’s bombing of a Sudanese aspirin factory at the time of his deposition in the Paula Jones case and at the peak of the Monica Lewinsky scandal is a prime example.)
Often, these distractions serve a dual purpose. For instance, the callous and senseless murder of six people by the mentally depraved Elliot Rodger on May 23 has mesmerized the populace. It has created some distraction away from the burgeoning Veterans Affairs scandal, the Internal Revenue Service scandal, the Benghazi scandal and the ongoing collapse of the economy and Obamacare. But more sinister is its use by the gun controllers and hoplophobes to once again attempt to advance their assault on the 2nd Amendment.

Congressman Steny Hoyer employed classic political speech (or doublethink) in announcing that Democrats will try to steal more 2nd Amendment liberties by expanding background checks on weapons purchases through an amendment to an upcoming bill. While acknowledging that expanded background checks would have made no difference in the Rodger case, Hoyer said Congress must do something. (By the way, half of Rodger’s victims were killed with knives and five of the 13 injured were struck with his car. Curiously, Hoyer did not call for background checks on knife and car purchases.)
There is nothing lawmakers love more than making laws, even when they know their laws won’t accomplish their stated purpose. This is particularly true of those laws that take more authority for the state, or if they enrich the fascist system. For lawmakers, the “unintended consequences” of their laws are just like gravy, because then they get to pass more laws to correct the unintended consequences. This, of course, leads to more “unintended consequences” and the passage of more laws.

Obama is a master of classic political speech. In a political fundraiser in Chicago last week, he moved from blaming George W. Bush for his problems and put the onus on the Founding Fathers.

According to Obama, he is unable to move his agenda forward because the Constitution requires each State be represented by two Senators. “Obviously, the nature of the Senate means that California has the same number of seats as Wyoming. That puts us at a disadvantage.”

This, of course, is nonsensical on its face and is pure argle-bargle. Democrats control the Senate 53-45 with one socialist and one independent, both of whom vote with Democrats. However, it reveals something of Obama’s true nature. That is, he wishes to be a dictator and he detests the republican system of government our Founders gave us, but which we have almost totally lost to fascism.
But of course, in the world of political speech, such tommyrot as this is accepted as great political philosophy and applauded by the sychophants and toadies.

Certainly, the current regime has not cornered the market on magical political speech and propaganda; but it has more weapons in its arsenal than any before it.

Video: So God Made a Liberal

Ok, you can keep all your theological corrections to yourself, and look beyond the gravity of the state of our Union for just about 3 minutes. This video is a parody of the late, great Paul Harvey’s “God Made a Farmer” speech in 1978. Paul was an icon to “common sense America” for 40 years. Clips from that speech were used in a Dodge truck ad for the 2013 Superbowl, and breathed new fame into the nearly forgotten lines delivered to the nation’s Future Farmers of America so long ago. Whoever did this parody studied Mr. Harvey a bit prior to this version. I had emailed the link last year, but it came up in a recent discussion group and several requested it again.

Sometimes a little humor can alleviate the pain of reality that keeps smacking you in the face. Laughter has thus been called “the best medicine” by Readers Digest, and it really helps to laugh at yourself…sometimes…but the rest of the time it’s more fun to laugh at the other guys! Foreign Policy Alinsky Style: Libya, Cairo, and Gay Ambassadors

American Ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, killed September 11, 2012, along with 3 other staff members by suspected Al Qaeda.

The Embassy was burned, documents stolen and who knows what intelligence and other information compromised. Libyan media is reporting that the Ambassador was brutally raped pre and postmortem.

The suspicion that Mr. Stevens was homosexual is substantiated by Chicago social networks and diplomatic circles. According to a post by Kevin Dujan, a gay political analyst and commentator, the ambassador was known in the gay social scene around Chicago. The article goes on to describe photographs of the ambassador being stripped of clothing and dragged off to be raped and beaten until dead, then raped in death. This is a barbarous act that is sometimes used by conquerors against mostly women, but sometimes homosexual men, to “demote” them to the status of women in the afterlife (whom incidentally, the fires of hell were made for). Those photo’s and these reports shall most likely remain unseen in mainstream media.

It is highly unlikely that Secretary of State Clinton and President Obama didn’t know that Chris Stevens was homosexual.

It has been Obama/Clinton policy to actively promote LGBT as part of human rights issues around the world, and events such as the first ever “Gay Pride” celebration in Islamabad, Pakistan, in June of 2011. Deputy Ambassador Richard Hoagland was the official host which was co-sponsored by the Gays and Lesbians in Foreign Affairs Agency (GLIFAA) and attended by 75 people. My first thought upon finding this organization was, are there really that many LGBT’s in US Foreign Affairs to warrant this agency? Well, obviously, since we have about 80 GLIFAA reps in 68 countries, 18 of which are majority Muslim. As you can imagine, this event was not received by the indigenous Muslims of Pakistan favorably. Protesters of course held to the obligatory American flag burning rituals, chanting “Death to America”, but also burning President Obama in effigy. They accused the United States of “cultural terrorism” for promoting homosexuality in Pakistan.

Back to the current spate of anti-American protests in most of the Middle East, the White House and State Department continue to hold up the stupid video about Muhammad as the reason for all the outrage, with Jay Carney, White House spokesman, doubling down on the narrative that Obama Administration foreign policies are not to blame, and whining that the outrage is ‘not against us, but those bad old people who dissed the “prophet”. Shame on them’. Forget the fact that most of the Middle East and South Asia is burning Obama in effigy, and forget that those protesters in Cairo were chanting, “We are all Osama’s Obama!!” S’pose that could be in response to the recent victorious reference at the DNC to “Osama bin Laden is dead and GM is alive!” ?

It would seem that it is Obama Administration policy to insult the entire Islamic world by perpetrating a social and sexual practice that is the most reprehensible thing to them except maybe burning a Koran or making a mockery of their prophet. (Personally, I could care less about burning the Koran, mocking the prophet or Marines pissing on dead Taliban. My point is the hypocrisy here is overwhelming.) The Shari’a calls for punishments of homosexual acts ranging from public flogging to execution… actually when you think about it, those are the punishments for many things under Shari’a.

So then, does the President not bear some modicum of responsibility for the death of Mr. Stevens. Or what of Secretary Clinton? If the maker of the moronic little video that mocks Muhammad is such a criminal, and deserves to be prosecuted, doesn’t the government official who knowingly appointed a homosexual man to a post where known Islamic Fundamentalist radicals are hanging out, still carrying weapons that we provided them with to facilitate the bloody capture and bludgeoning of Momar Ghaddaffi, after which Ms. Clinton was photographed in a celebratory mood.

Ok, let’s review.

We are barely a year out from a bloody civil war in Libya. There are still Ghaddaffi Loyalists at large. We armed the rebels, the natives are calling for Sharia, and our government places a gay man with minimal security in a makeshift “embassy compound” while we promote homosexuality through our various embassies around the Islamic world. President Obama openly supports the Muslim Brotherhood in the Arab Spring, a known Fundamentalist Islamist organization founded for the sole purpose of bringing back the Islamic Caliphate and the rule of Sharia Law.

The President has snubbed the leader of Israel, bowed to the Saudi King, facilitated the destabilization of not only several Islamic nation states, but pretty much the entire Middle East and South Asia, hinted at invading Pakistan, actually has given the order to pursue and kill an iconic Islamic fugitive on Pakistani soil then dumped the body at sea, refused to assist civilians in Syria who are suffering genocidal attacks, but allowed Al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood to take the lead in that endeavor, chastised Israel for protecting her sovereign territory, reduced American forces in Afghanistan to the point that remaining personnel are severely over worked, and increasingly targeted by “friendly” Afghan Security Forces. In the middle of all that mess, he places ambassadors with minimal security and at a deadly high risk.

The rioters in Libya breached the Embassy attacking not only sovereign US Territory, but American citizens. No dead Libyans? Why no return fire? In Cairo, the rioters breached the Embassy compound, again sovereign US Territory, attacked our flag and replaced it with the Islamic Jihad flag, which was referred to “officially” as the “flag of Al Qaeda”. So if Al Qaeda, according to Asst. Secretary of Defense, is the only recognized enemy in the “Global War on Terrorism” why was the enemy allowed to hang his banner on my flag pole!?!

There are reports that at least the Cairo Embassy Marine contingent were not even issued live ammo…

You are looking at the biggest Foreign Policy disaster since Jimmy Carter…no check that. It’s worse than Carter; Jimmy didn’t get it. This guy knows exactly what he’s doing. Saul Alinsky methods now instituted on a global scale. System Overload; System Fail…

Kansas Passes American Laws for American Courts!

Over two years ago I was honored to become part of the team to present ALAC to the Kansas Legislature. It has been a long hard battle, and my first real inside look at how the political process works. Oh, I have pretty much always been active and interested, but never on such a personal and crucial level. It has been a roller coaster ride that I will not soon forget and unless you’ve actually been involved close up, there is no way to understand it, let alone explain it! Human nature is vividly revealed in this arena, and character is exposed for all to see! I was proud of the team I have been involved with and they have become very close and dear to my heart; all brothers and sisters in Christ, and all men and women of high character and humility.

I still am reeling from the shock that the Kansas Senate passed ALAC, 33-3!!

There were more opposing speeches given than opposing votes! Vicious lies were spewed about the contents and intents of SB 79 during debate by Senate Committee Leaders. At least 4 Senate Leaders testified against the bill; one Senator changing his mind from supporting in Committee to opposing, along with the Senate Judiciary Chair, who still doesn’t even know why he signed on in Committee!! I Do!!

Great support was given by many Senators, and when the dust settled 33 had voted for and 3 against. This in a Senate Chamber that has been run by liberal Republican leadership and have basically smacked down nearly every conservative legislation that has appeared in its chambers. Most of these bills were going down by narrow margins of 3 to 6 votes.

On Wednesday, we had such a huge setback! The brother of a Muslim woman in Wichita (court case pending) had asked for a press Conference with the Center for Security Policy, who were the chief engineers of ALAC on the national level. We held a press conference in Topeka and this guy backed out, and essentially the wheels fell off our wagon. I really expected the press to crucify us but it wasn’t as bad as I anticipated. Amid the confusion of all the other fights and melee in the Capital that day, our deal was not so big.

One of our team members had made a comment Wednesday after our disaster that Jesus did not turn the water into wine until they had run out of wine. Well said my friend! We were totally out of the fight when He moved and showed us all! We had to be totally removed from having any part in what God was about to do! He chose one young faithful Senator to accomplish the impossible, and it was incredible to behold the events as they unfolded. For over an hour debate ensued, and by the end of the second hour the vote was tallied. Everyone was asking each other if those numbers where correct. What just happened? Is this for real? How can that be? God just revived a bill which had died 3 times in the past year!

This event could very well be the dynamite that breaks the logjam in the Kansas Legislature. This event is already a defining moment in the coming elections! It may be the defining moment in the future of Kansas!

If you know anything about the history of the United States, you know Kansas has played a major part in events that have shaken the Nation to its very core. From the Kansas-Nebraska Act which sparked the Civil War, to Brown v Board of Education, Kansas has a long history at the tip of the spear of moral and spiritual battles in our country. For over 7 years prior to the Civil War, there were buckets of blood soaking into Kansas soil while struggling to establish the American ideal of “All men equal under the Law” that had been written into the Constitution. Kansas motto is “Ad Astra Per Aspra”, Latin for “To the Stars through Difficulty”. She wanted to come into that field of blue on the American Flag, a Free State where all men are considered equal under protection of the law of the Land.

American Laws for American Courts underscores that ideal. It is the reinforcing of the promises of government to guard and protect the individual rights and freedoms as granted under the United States Constitution and the Constitution of the State of Kansas regardless of country or culture of origin, race, or religion. It gives statutory direction to the Courts, which at times, without such laws to refer to, may use arbitrary means to reach a decision.

A reporter asked me if I didn’t think it redundant to pass a law that does the same thing as the Constitution? Considering that many Judges, lawyers, and citizens in general do not read, abide by, understand, or even think about the Constitution anymore…my answer?

“Yes.”

UPDATE: The HAMAS linked CAIR (Council for American Islamic Relations), a Muslim Brotherhood affiliate, has mounted its expected attack on Kansas. They have mounted a national campaign for Muslims to contact Governor Sam Brownback and tell him not to sign the bill. CAIR’s call to action lambasts Kansas Legislature, and Kansas citizens, as “Islamophobic, Muslim hating bigots, and that this law will forbid free exercise of Islamic religious beliefs.

Well, if your free exercise of your religious beliefs goes contrary to the Constitution, and existing Kansas and American Law, then I suppose that would apply. Things like polygamy, slavery, inequity in legal status, stoning, suppression of the rights of other individuals (Muslim or non-Muslim), yes, these things are contrary to our laws. It’s sort of like driving the wrong way on a one way street. It’s against the law, no matter who you are, or why you do it!

If your religious beliefs lead you to action that is legal under American or Kansas Law, such as your choice of diet, abstaining from alcohol or tobacco, pray 5 times a day (not blocking traffic), adhere to a dress code, or any other religious expression which complies with the law, knock yourself out!

Dedicated to Those Who Gave All

I wrote this poem many years ago after taking my family to visit the portable version of the Vietnam Memorial Wall which was visiting our town. It is called the “Moving Wall” because it is portable. However, it was emotionally one of the most ‘moving’ experiences of my life. Even though these verses were inspired by those valiant Americans whose names are engraved on that black wall, it is nonetheless a tribute to each and every person who has ever died in the service of our country. When this was written, my son whom I mentioned was about 6. He is now a 25 year old United States Marine Corps Reserve, and an Afghan vet. He is my hero.

The Wall

I saw your name the other day
While reading the local news.
It said you played a good ball game,
Your last year, and you’ve paid your dues.

I saw your name then sometime later,
Graduation day had come.
You walked up proud and took the scroll
That your hard work had won.

I saw your name in another season
And smiled to myself as I read
Of a young married couple just starting out
With a promise and dreams ahead.

I saw your name a few months later
But this time it worried me.
Your name, and others, on a long list
Training for war overseas.

I saw your name and uttered a prayer
For you and your young family.
I knew of your character and duty-bound love
For country, for God, and for me.

I saw your name and thought of your father
Who fought in another time.
And he, just like you, hated to leave
His wife, and new son behind.

And my heart broke as mist filled my eyes.
You were killed with some buddies while out on patrol

The Great Black Beast

Islam is a great black beast that engulfs everything in its path, shutting out the light of reason. It buries people under a system of control which allows no freedom of thought, debate or criticism. Islam cannot stand up against any questioning of its authority; this is precisely the reason that it reacts swiftly and sometimes violently when challenged. In fact, the more control Islam has over a society the more violent the response to a challenge of its authority.

You will note that those nations whose government allows Sharia (Islamic Sacred Law) to be the law of the land, such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, Kuwait, UAE, and Yemen, just to name a few, are among the most oppressive societies in the world, especially to Muslim women. Many other countries which have a dual system in which Muslims are permitted to use Sharia courts to determine legal or social matters, may not be constitutionally ruled by Sharia, but in all practicality use self imposed Sharia. These would be countries such as Somalia, Kenya, Nigeria, and Pakistan. Again, not exactly bastions of freedom and tolerance.

These countries which embrace Sharia are known for harsh punishments and swift judgments. A small boy may have his hand slowly crushed while driven over by a car for stealing a piece of candy. He is fortunate. If he was of age, his hand would be cut off. A young teenage woman who is raped by her cousin must produce four male witnesses to testify on her behalf that she was not compliant in the sexual act; otherwise she may very well be stoned to death for adultery. In some cases, her own family will execute her for “dishonoring” the family.

Worldwide there are 5,000 of these “Honor Killings” every year, most of which are performed by immediate family members. In the United States alone there have been at least 19 documented honor killings since 1989. In Irvine, Texas, 2008 Amina and Sarah Said were two beautiful teenage girls whose father shot them both at point blank range in the back seat of his car and left them to bleed to death. Why? They were “behaving like western girls”. He was never apprehended. Noor Almaleki, 20, died in November, 2009 after she and her boyfriend’s mother were run over by her father in a Peoria, Ariz., parking lot. The father was dishonored because she rejected her marriage in Iraq. Palestina Isa, 16, of St. Louis, MO was brutally stabbed to death by her father while her mother held her down and repeatedly said, “Die my daughter, Die”! Her crimes? She had taken a part time job and was spending time with an African-American boy.

Public stoning, burning or even beheadings have been known across the Islamic world, for what sometimes amounts to a false accusation of adultery by someone in the community. Pick up a DVD of “The Stoning of Soraya M.” and witness a true story of a divorce seeking Persian who brings false charges of adultery against his wife when she refuses his demands. In typical Sharia fashion, under direction of the local Imam, she is convicted, bound, and buried from her waist down. Each villager throws a stone until she is dead. Many of these types of barbaric executions of violators of Sharia are captured on video and are done in a ritualistic fashion amounting to nothing less than human sacrifice.

What is it that can move a Palestinian mother to wrap a cellophane bag around her own daughters head while she sleeps, and slice her wrists with a razor? In West Bank, the village of Abu Qash, 17 year old Rofayda refused to commit suicide after her brothers raped and impregnated her. So her 43 year old mother waited until she went to sleep and killed her in order to restore the “family’s honor”. The execution of her sixth born child took 20 minutes, confessed Amira Qaoud. Fatima, 9, the youngest surviving child said, “My mother did this because she does not want us to be punished by people. I love my mother much more now than before.” Stunning!

The Palestinian media is fraught with images of young children 3 to 5 years old being taught to repeat songs and phrases, such as “Kill the Jew” and “Death to Israel”. They are taught from the earliest ages to hate Israel and America, and that, as former terrorist Kamal Saleem says his mother taught him, “My son, when you kill a Jew your right hand will glow with glory before Allah.” A cartoon ‘Mickey Mouse’ type character leads children in singing songs that refer to Jews as “pigs and monkeys” and reinforce the rhetoric that it is glorious to kill Jews, if even by suicide bombing.

How can this be? What can possess parents to teach their children that the highest calling they could ever aspire to is to die “Shahid”, a martyr in the cause of advancing the religion of Allah? This is insanity.

Avi Lipkin, well known author and speaker, has written several books on the subject. He rightly identifies Islam as a religion of insanity. It consumes people to the point they can no longer enjoy life and are obsessed by death. As the infamous Fort Hood shooter, Nidal Hasan, expresses in his power point presentation given at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 2007, “We love death more than you love life”. Islam is the largest death cult in the world. When you have Islamic leaders like Iran’s Ahmadinejad, who has time and again threatened Israel’s very existence, who believes that he is the predecessor to the Twelfth Imam and in order to hastened the Imam’s return from the cave, must create chaos in the Earth, now the world has a problem.

Ok, so now I can hear my critics saying, “These are extremists! They do not represent the true Islam!” To you I simply say, “Read the books of Islam.” Then read my previously written article on this site entitled “Fundamentals”. What the world is witnessing today is Islam is returning to its foundations. Seyyid Qutb called for it nearly 50 years ago. The current “Century of Islam” is upon us. It began in 1979 on November 20, the New Year 1400 on the Islamic calendar. This is the time designated for Islam to conquer the entire Earth. For you Bible scholars it is the beast of the Revelation.

The ironic phenomena occurring in the Islamic world is the startling number of Muslims converting to Jesus Christ! They are coming by the tens of thousands out of the great black beast and into the light of Truth. Muslims who have become disillusioned and disgusted with the unbearable burden of Islam are calling out to God, and He is answering.

Sheik Ahmad Al Khatani, president of The Companions Lighthouse for the Science of Islamic Law in Libya, recently lamented in an interview on Al Jazeera TV that there are 16,000 Muslims in North Africa converting to Christianity every day! Reports from all across the Islamic world are coming that Muslims are seeking truth in earnest and are receiving visions and dreams of Jesus Christ by the thousands!

Up until now I have regarded the Islamic invasion of America as evil and very dangerous. While I still believe that the system of Islam is evil and very dangerous, I now look at it as an opportunity. Listen to me well: Islam is evil, Muslims are not evil. Muslims are victims! Islam, the beast, consumes people who have a God given thirst for Him. When the truth of God is absent or forbidden the human spirit is nevertheless famished for spiritual fulfillment and a reason for existence. It will accept whatever is offered; sometimes having no choice. Islam is not a choice for millions upon millions of people; It is foisted upon them. It is the only thing allowed in many places, saturating the media, culture, music, and traditions so much so that everything you see, touch, smell, hear, and even think is limited to Islam. The deeper one gets into it, the less light is available to illuminate and expose the lie. Most Muslims are not Muslim by choice, even if they profess to be. They are subject to the heaviest and most restrictive religious cult in the world.

No, Muslims are not the enemy! Islam is the enemy. If this “religion” is allowed to continue creeping across America, America too will find itself bound in the shadow of the Great Black Beast.

Communist Invasion or Islamic Colonialism?

Sometime in the future the morning headline reads:

“America Invaded: New Totalitarian Government Established”

As you read the story that follows, you learn that Communists from America’s old arch nemesis, Russia have been successfully infiltrating American institutions for the last 30 years. The “invasion” was not the expected typical military type where the Red Army poses an amphibious assault accompanied by paratroopers, air strikes and hoards of infantry and hardware. No this invasion has been much more covert; so much so that the American public has even assisted the enemy in achieving a stealth invasion and consequent subversion of existing government and society.

Slowly, and steadily, agents were strategically placed in American media that were sympathetic to the Communist cause, and given orders to influence and subvert all information to enhance the public view of Communism on news and entertainment venues throughout the land. Leadership positions inside trade unions, civic organizations, and sports clubs had been infiltrated by dues paying members whom no one ever suspected of having subversive ideologies contrary to the American way of life. The United States Government played an impressive role in bringing these agents inside by issuing thousands of work and student visas to applicants from countries under Communist rule. Many never reported to class.

They were even allowed under American law to establish nonprofit organizations to propagate their message and raise funding and recruit new members for foreign military operations that would endanger Americans and our allies, both at home and abroad. These organizations brandish such titles as: “Communist Students of America (CSA)”, “North American Communist Trust” (NACT), “Communist Society of North America”(CSNA), and “Communist American Youth Association” (CAYA). These were but a few of the groups under the umbrella of the Communist Brotherhood, a known terrorist organization bent on spreading communism across the world and bringing the entire globe under Communist rule.

Government offices, departments and bureau’s, as well as private corporations, had been unwittingly hiring employees and contractors whose intended purpose was to infiltrate and network inside these institutions in order to bring them under control of the Party. Anyone who objected or tried to inform the public of what was happening was instantly relegated by the media to the “fringes” and labeled “Commiephobes”. Even the American military had been infiltrated by these tactics as peer pressure and fear of losing pensions, and positions kept officers and supervisors from exposing these Communist agents, even though they were openly propagating Communist ideology in briefings and classrooms.

Academic centers from major universities right on down to the elementary grade schools had been encouraged by the Department of Education, teachers unions and text book publishers to teach students the virtues of Communism while ignoring the human rights violations that perpetuate the reality of Communist run states. Many teachers and classrooms had been invited by local Communist Party leaders to bring students to participate in educational activities at known Communist education centers, which introduced them to the Communist ideology and invited the students to actually take part in some of the activities reserved strictly for Party members, including learning the credo of all faithful Party members. All the while, the message to the students is the superiority of Communism and the inferiority of all other forms of government.

“How could this have happened?” you ask yourself, stunned to find armed guards standing on your very own neighborhood street corner. Martial law has been declared and you awoke this morning to the brand new Peoples Republic of Amerika.

Sound ludicrous?

Of course. Everyone knows that Americans would never stand by and let Communists infiltrate and subvert our society and government, yes even help them by encouraging fellow Americans to “accept and tolerate” the Communist propaganda perpetrated throughout our media. Neither would our citizens, under the guise of “pluralism”, accept the indoctrination of our students and children as an “alternative belief system” through our schools. The moment parents witnessed their 5th grader reciting the Communist Manifesto and pretending to be Karl Marx or Joe Stalin, the local school board would be inundated with angry complaints demanding this ideology be stripped from the curriculum. (Well… one would hope this would be the case.)

However, this is precisely what has happened and is happening at this very moment. With one minor difference. Go back and read the “fictional” story and substitute the word “Communist” with the word “Islam” or Muslim”. Now it is no longer fictional. It is fact.

Islam has been infiltrating America for 30 years at every level. And while we have not yet awaken to find ourselves living under Sharia Law, that morning may not be far off.

It is fact that Islam has made deep inroads into American society via every major facet of culture, finance, education and government, as well as religion. We now see mainstream Protestant churches welcoming Islamic clerics for “interfaith dialogue” with their congregants. Mostly, “interfaith dialogue” is a euphemism for “Islam speaks, Christians listen”. A historic Christian church in Denver, CO added a Shiite Muslim cleric to their staff in 2004, to head up their “Abrahamic Initiative”, while maintaining his position as head of the Islamic Center of Ahl Al-Beit in west Denver. Huh?

Sharia compliant finance is fast becoming a standard policy of major banks and corporations worldwide. The White House just recently brought in a “White House Fellow”, Samir Ali, who has been working for the law firm Hogan Lovells – which claims to have advised on more than 200 Islamic finance transactions with an aggregate deal value in excess of $40 billion. Her duties in the Department of Homeland Security, according to the White House website: “She is responsible for counseling clients on mergers & acquisitions, cross-border transactions, Shariah-compliant transactions, project finance and international business matters. During her time with Hogan Lovells, she has been a founding member of the firm’s Abu Dhabi office.”

Other Obama Administration appointees include: Rashaad Hussain, Special Envoy to the Organization of Islamic Conference (the worldwide Islamic religion’s delegation to the United Nations); Kareem Shora, Advisory Council, DHS; Dalia Mogahed, Advisor to the President on issues facing the Muslim Community in the United States (an outspoken proponent of Sharia Law); Arif Alikhan, Assistant Secretary for Policy Development, DHS.

In Fort Hood, Texas, the political correctness in the US Army became obvious as Major Nidal Hasan declared jihad and killed 13 soldiers and wounded 43 more in the name of Allah, “the Beneficent, the Merciful”. Hasan had been speaking and telegraphing his future actions for months. While stationed outside Washington he attended the well known Dar al-Hijra (Land of Migration) Mosque, in Falls Church, VA. In 2007, at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, he gave a presentation entitled, “The Koranic World View As It Relates to Muslims in the U.S. Military”, in which he laid out the problems and misgivings of Muslims in the American military of the United States deploying Muslims to fight Muslims. He went on to quote both Koran and Hadith passages which instruct Muslims to fight non-Muslims and bring them under submission of Islam. On his slide number 48 he says, “We love death more then (sic) you love life”. His recommendation was this, “Department of Defense should allow Muslim Soldiers the option of being released as “Conscientious objectors” to increase troop morale and decrease adverse events.” (Nidal Hasan) [Emphasis added] After the shooting, several reports surfaced about people who voiced concern, or noticed these signs, and yet nothing was done for fear of “rocking the boat”.

[Out of this tragic loss of our noble soldiers, who perished under enemy fire (IMO), comes one small shred of satisfaction: Hasan, the great mujahidin, was not permitted the status of martyrdom, rejected by Allah, and taken down by an infidel woman nearly half his size, who pumped 3 rounds into him before he could shoot himself or anyone else. He will not walk again and faces the death penalty. Poetic justice indeed.]

Islamic network organizations abound in the US of which many have been tied to recruiting and financing terrorism. They enjoy the status and protections under American law as “charitable”, “research”, and “civil rights” organizations yet have the unified goal of replacing American law with Sharia, and thus the destruction of the United States as we have known it. These groups are as follows: MAYA (Muslim Arab Youth Association), AIG (American Islamic Group), ICW (Islamic Cultural Workshop), CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations), AMC (American Muslim Council), ICNA (Islamic Circle of North America), MPAC (Muslim Public Affairs Council), AMA (American Muslim Alliance), ISNA (Islamic Society of North America). These groups and many more are part of an umbrella group known as “Muslim Brotherhood” or “The Ikwan”.

Steven Emerson, perhaps America’s foremost authority on Islamic Terrorism, authored “American Jihad-The Terrorists Living Among Us”, in which he exposes these groups and their ties to Al-Qaida, HAMAS, Hizballah and Islamic Jihad, all four terrorist groups which are present in many cities across the United States. For instance, HAMAS is active in Kansas City, Dallas, Tucson, LA, New York, and Houston. Al Qaida is active in Ft. Lauderdale, Boston, Columbia, MO, and Arlington, TX. These groups are not new; many have been here dating back to the 1970’s.

Something that is fairly new is the appearance of charter schools sponsored or administrated by more benign Islamic groups. Many of these non-militant groups are of Turkish origin and can be traced to Fethullah Gulen, a Turk who lives in Saylorsburg, PA. Students receive a well disciplined education in the sciences and the arts, and also a generous dose of Islamic indoctrination. Many of these schools receive Federal money. Mr. Gulen can be associated with at least 85 of these charter schools in the United States. He is known here as an educator, and philanthroper, but in Turkey, he is known as the single most powerful influence pushing the historically secularized Turkish government toward Islamization. He escaped Turkey in 1998, fleeing to the US, avoiding charges of sedition against the government of Turkey. In 2002, the FBI was pressing to deport him, but the Bush administration stopped the process. Mr. Gulen has enjoyed the admiration of three US Presidents to date, and has been key in establishment of, not only Islamic charter schools, but aided by the Bush administration, the “Institute for Interfaith Dialogue” as well as a myriad of other groups such as “Raindrop Turkish House”, “Turquoise Council of American-Eurasians”(TCAE), The Gulen Institute, Atlas Foundation, and EbruTV. These organizations all form intercultural relationships with key American administrators, businesses, government offices on all levels, legislators, and civil services.

The formal description in Islam is “Dawa”. This is basically “peaceful jihad”. The strategy is this: Americans reject violent jihad (terrorism). However, they do seem to have great respect for smiling gentlemen in business suits from cultures and societies other than their own. The ultimate objective is the same as the jihadi’s, only the means are different. Establishment of Sharia, and the “Global Ummah” (Islamic community).

Another method that seems to be gaining popularity is unabashed barging into the public school system through textbooks which contain heavy Islamic influenced propaganda extolling the virtues of the “one true religion” and barely a passing mention to Christianity and Judaism.

If that isn’t bold enough take a look at this video in which a Massachusetts public school classroom was invited for a “field day at the Mosque” and then invited to pray with the Muslims.

Turkish Connection II

Based outside Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, Fethullah Gulen has established numerous institutes and forums around the United States. The Fethullah Gulen Community (FGC) is very active in Turkey and the United States as well as many other countries. He is listed by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre as number 13 of 500 of the world’s most influential Muslims. If you do a Google search on him, you get well over a million results.

Gulen is the driving force behind Turkey’s “Justice and Development Party (AKP) which is transforming society and politics in Turkey at this very minute. Both current Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tyyip Erdogen and President Abdullah Gul, a former Welfare Party member, are AKP members of which Erdogen is the chairman. The AKP succeeded the Islamic Welfare Party (RP) which was broken up and banned by the government in 1998 for violating the constitution’s secularism principles. That’s when Fethullah fled to the US. He seems to have more power than ever now that AKP has become the elected majority party in Parliament in 2007.

The Turkish military has always been used as the tempering factor in preserving the secularization of the government. In February of 2010, forty nine officers were arrested on allegation of plotting a coup against the government. These included top brass, both retired and active duty generals and admirals, and other high level commanders. They were accused of planning to bomb historic mosques in Istanbul and shoot down its own planes in order to justify the coup, as laid out in a 5,000 page memo produced by their accusers.

When Soner Cagaptay, author and Director of the Turkish Research Program at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, asked a former U.S. ambassador to Turkey for his views on this news, the ambassador thought the scenario was ridiculous. (See Cagaptays article at Foreign Policy magazine) It has become unpopular if not dangerous to verbalize opposition to the AKP or Fethullah Gulen in Turkey.

A BBC News website article about this “Ergenekon” conspiracy quotes Turkish news investigator Irfan Bozan for NTV News channel out of Istanbul as saying, “I think the government moved now to dirty these people’s names and reputations. It’s a warning that they’re under watch.” Bozan believes this is an attack on those who are anti-government.

Back in the United States, Gulen seems to be as available to high level American political and civic leaders as they are to him. The Gulen Institute, Institute of Interfaith Dialog, Turquoise Center, and more locally the Raindrop Turkish Houses, along with others either directly or indirectly affiliated with Gulen have, as their apparent mission, to seek out leadership positions and officials at all levels of government and shape bonds of friendship and trust by providing a myriad of social functions from breakfasts to award dinners, to summit meeting with dignitaries and civil servants alike. One of the frequent provisions to these folks is the all expense paid trip to Turkey for the official and family members for a vacation of a lifetime. Some elected Kansas legislators recently returned from one such junket.

On the world stage, the Institute has hosted many high profile names such as James Baker, Kofi Annan, Madeline Albright, and received praise from Bill and Hillary Clinton, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, and others.

FGC built and runs hundreds of schools and seven universities around the world. Just one phalanx of what is known as “education jihad”, these schools mainly focus on secondary and college level students, imposing and inciting discipline and good social order, (that’s all good, but…) all the while extolling the virtues of the Islamic religion. This is a calculated effort and will indeed have huge effects on American culture and society in a generation or two. There are currently 130 such schools inside the United States.

As one peruses the websites of the many FGC organizations, a few familiar phrases begin to surface. (Much like the new media these days seem to capture and repeat the same phrase or word such as “gravitas” over and over again.) I have heard these same phrases begin to emerge in just the last two or three years.

For example, “Social justice” is a phrase that began to get a lot of ‘speak’ leading up to and during the last Presidential election cycle and has been used by progressives since Woodrow Wilson. It is an ideology which has infiltrated American institutions from the schoolhouse to the church to the media. “Social justice” is one of the core values of Fethullah Gulen’s “Turkish Movement”. Stands to reason as this is one of the key principles of Islam. In case you’ve been living in the trunk of a Hemlock tree, “social justice” translates as “income and/or property redistribution”. How about that for a revelation? Now you know why Muslim’s vote Democrat.

Another phrase that is used continuously is “Interfaith Dialogue”. This one began to get air during the Bush administration post 9-1-1. In 2002 the Institute of Interfaith Dialog was established by Turkish Americans to “eliminate or reduce false stereotypes, prejudices and unjustified fears through direct human communication. Toward these goals the Institute organizes academic and grass roots activities such as conferences, panels, symposia, interfaith family dinners and cultural exchange trips. Many participants of the Institute’s activities are inspired by the discourse and pioneering dialogue initiatives of the Turkish Muslim scholar, writer and educator Fethullah Gulen. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, the Institute has branch offices in five states and representatives throughout the South-Central United States.” (direct quote from IID website)

I have realized that this phrase “interfaith dialog” almost always translates, “Christians and Jews must accept the fact that Islam is the superior faith”.

Defining the Narrative

“If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.”

Who said it? The quote has been attributed to several including Malcolm X, Ginger Rogers, British journalist Alex Hamilton (not to be confused with the American founder) and Martin Luther King. I would have thought perhaps Will Rogers might have quipped such a wry statement, and it has even made its place into a country music song recently. But while the sentiment is common and these folks among others have used it in one form or another, it first came into the public record in the chambers of the United States Senate in 1947. Asking God to give direction to America’s leaders, Senate Chaplain Peter Marshall prayed, “Give us clear vision that we may know where to stand and what to stand for – because unless we stand for something, we shall fall for anything.”

The Chaplain was obviously making reference to Proverbs 29:18, “Where there is no vision, the people perish…” and a post-war American culture becoming increasingly influenced through academia, media, and politics manipulated by Humanists and Agnostics. The agnostic believes that there are no absolutes, and therefore can’t say whether God exists or not; The Humanist believes he is god.

The Humanist Manifesto dedicated in 1933, defined Humanism as a religion of the brotherhood of humanity to end all theistic religions; those which revere a superior deity or deities. This document came on the heels of the 1925 Scopes “Monkey Trial” which was basically an “O.J SimpsonTrial” broadcast live on radio (the first ever) and brought to America by the ACLU in hopes of driving a wedge between “science and the Bible”, therefore delegitimizing Bible based Judeo-Christian beliefs. Long story short, ACLU had its way even though they lost legally.

Darwinian Evolution consequently got another foothold on society, the greatest since the initial publication of his book “Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life”, (that is the full title) in 1859. (The release of which gave “scientific” credence to the argument by many that the black race was inferior, therefore attempting to justify slavery of the African people. Such is the problem with evolutionary thought; throughout history evolutionary theories have been used to justify many forms of racism resulting in atrocities from slavery to genocide. Evolution by necessity will always dehumanize or subjugate some race or culture. Think about it.)

The Cold War was beginning to heat up in the late ‘40’s and Communism was on the march in Europe and Asia, along with its atheistic ideology. In an effort to thwart Communism within our borders and to re-iterate America as “God fearing”, the words “under God” were added to our Pledge to the Flag in 1954.

The “vision” continued to become more clouded, if not lost, throughout the ‘60’s after Marxist revolutionaries took Cuba and began to infiltrate Universities across the United States. By 1973, the Humanists were no longer satisfied with the original ‘manifesto’ and revised it, stripping the religious nature of Humanism from the old document and redefining the movement’s goal of “a system of world law and a world order based upon transnational federal government. This would appreciate cultural pluralism and diversity”. [Humanist Manifesto II, Section 12] It goes on to promote open borders, environmental controls, redistribution of wealth, and actually closes out reading much like John Lennon’s “Imagine”, released only two years prior. Aside from the added tenets and the much longer list of signers, the most revealing stroke in my opinion, was the “secularizing” of humanism; that is stripping away the many references to “religious humanism” found in the original document.

Secular Humanism has been the driving force for the last 40-50 years that has resulted in the spiritual retardation of American culture. By pushing Judeo-Christian ideology to the margins of society, the Bible is removed as the basis for ethics, laws, and morals. Secularization has made possible Pluralism, which basically says that no ideology, philosophy or faith belief system is of higher social value than any other. All are equal and must not only be tolerated, but embraced. This is the last great virtue of a secular society. Tolerance- Which brings us back to the opening quote that I would modify to say:

“By attempting to embrace everything, you can hold onto nothing.”

This is where history finds us, America. Amidst a culture which cannot define itself, lacking a foundation to stand upon, and floating aimlessly in a sea of political correctness fed by the river of pluralism. We don’t know our own narrative. Could this be the reason that no one in the media, academia, or government can say definitively that America is in a fight for survival? Is it possible that this 40 year drunken binge on “pluralism” has inhibited our ability to see the enemy when he is standing before us, smiling that sinister grin with one hand extended and the other holding a sword?

Second Timothy chapter 3 speaks of “perilous times” when all manner of spiritual and societal ills are magnified and people are “lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof…Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth…men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.”

This is why we cannot identify the religion of Islam as a detriment to American culture. We don’t know who we are! We are reprobate concerning our faith and our heritage. And although you don’t have to be a Christian to be a patriotic American, those Judeo-Christian principles were the foundation that the Fathers built upon making possible the forging of this country, and are as much a part of American culture as the Declaration, baseball, and the Statue of Liberty.

We deny the power of the Christian “religion”, so how could we expect to recognize the power of another religion? We have relegated “religion” as a crutch for the weak and soft headed. No wonder we cannot accept the fact that a “jihadist” is wholly committed, body and spirit, to the advancement of his own religious ideals. If Christians were as committed to our cause and principles as Islamic jihadists are to theirs, we wouldn’t have to worry that Shari’a law may be coming to a town near you. (And I do not mean Christians should become suicide bombers! I simply mean be willing to invest your whole being into the Great Commission and walk the walk, not just drop a buck or two in the plate on Sunday.)

Someone said, “If you don’t know where you’ve been you cannot know where you are. And if you don’t know where you are you cannot know where you are going.” I fear America has sold her soul. Not only our spiritual heritage which I deem as most important, but our national heritage has been wrested from us and revised to tarnish our heroes and motives. America’s pride has been taken and she no longer holds her chin up, facing the challenge. History has ceased to be taught in a manner that children can relate and replaced with social programming in order to create global citizens. No wonder we don’t know who we are. Little wonder a militant Muslim in Lawrence, Ks told a business owner, “We can take America because it’s the land of boys with no testicles”. He actually believes it.

I would echo Chaplain Marshall’s prayer for a vision: A vision that would show us where to stand and what to stand for, because if we fail to take that stand, we shall fall for anything; and for nothing.
