The Protest That Wasn’t (…in the News)

While all of America’s Mainstream Media (MSM) outlets had their cameras trained on the George Zimmerman trial in Florida awaiting the jury’s decision, and just a few hours before Americans across the country streamed into the streets in protest of that verdict, there was another protest under way in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania.

130 people, many of Turkish origin or Turkish descent, were protesting Fethullah Gulen, an Islamic cleric, who came to the US in the late ’90’s to escape the then secular government who wanted him for sedition. Gulen had been arrested and served jail time previously for the same charge many years prior. I have written a series called “Turkish Connection” which give some background and history on Turkey’s once secular government established by Kemal Attaturk in the early 1920’s, which has now been Islamized since Gulen’s AKP party took control of the Parliament in 2007 and both the President and Prime Minister are AKP as well. Charges were dropped against Gulen in 2008.

(You may have heard of the recent protests in Istanbul and Ankara which have lasted for weeks and still continue in some degree, regardless of lack of American media attention, to protest Erdogen’s Islamist government which is dragging the country back under Sharia Law.)

You see, up until WW1 the Ottoman Empire (Turkey) dominated all the Middle East and was the seat of the Islamic Caliphate. The Islamists are now in power in government once again and want it back!

Fethullah Gulen

Fethullah Gulen has been very influential in the Islamist movement in Turkey, in spite of his residence in the US for the last 14 years. He owns many media outlets there and organized and established many schools there. But his influence does not stop in Turkey. He has established a plethora of Turkish groups and charter schools in the United States as well as many other countries. This excerpt from a previous article I wrote in 2010:

“The Gulen Institute, Institute of Interfaith Dialog, Turquoise Center, and more locally the Raindrop Turkish Houses, along with others either directly or indirectly affiliated with Gulen have, as their apparent mission, to seek out leadership positions and officials at all levels of government and shape bonds of friendship and trust by providing a myriad of social functions from breakfasts to award dinners, to summit meeting with dignitaries and civil servants alike. One of the frequent provisions to these folks is the all expense paid trip to Turkey for the official and family members for a vacation of a lifetime. Some elected Kansas legislators recently returned from one such junket.

On the world stage, the Institute has hosted many high profile names such as James Baker, Kofi Annan, Madeline Albright, and received praise from Bill and Hillary Clinton, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, and others.

FGC (Fethullah Gulen Community) built and runs hundreds of schools and seven universities around the world. Just one phalanx of what is known as “education jihad”, these schools mainly focus on secondary and college level students, imposing and inciting discipline and good social order, (that’s all good, but…) all the while extolling the virtues of the Islamic religion. This is a calculated effort and will indeed have huge effects on American culture and society in a generation or two. There are currently 130 such schools inside the United States.”

These are mostly, if not all, in the form of charter schools, utilizing US taxpayer money for funding scattered across 26 states. Other funding comes from international foundations such as Cosmos Foundation, based in India and according to this article in the NY Times, contracts for building them mount into the scores of millions of dollars for contractors, many with roots in Turkey. Many of these schools, such as the 42 in Texas, operate under the Harmony Public Schools name. Several of these schools have fallen under Federal investigation for misuse of funds. The teachers are also Turkish and come here on H1B visa’s specifically to teach in Gulen’s schools.

The Saylorsburg protests were reported only locally as in the Pocono Record:

“Protesters came from across the U.S. to draw attention to Gülen’s residence in Saylorsburg. He is a polarizing figure in Turkey whom critics accuse of trying to turn the country into an Islamic regime from a secular democracy.

Men, women and children waved Turkish flags, often emblazoned with the face of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the republic and secular hero in Turkey. Some also held American flags and posters with slogans in English and Turkish.

“USA wake up, sharia is here,” read one, warning of sharia law. “Stop stealing our taxes for your jihad,” another said.

Birgul Oncu, of New York, said she hoped the protest would make Americans more aware of who Gülen is and his influence in Turkey and in America through charter schools affiliated with the Gülen movement…

Protesters said they were in favor of a secular Turkey, and in solidarity with protesters on the streets of major Turkish cities over the last few weeks who have criticized Turkey’s leader for what they see as an Islamization of the country.

Huriye Altan, of Long Island, said she is an American citizen of Turkish origin whose husband fought in the Vietnam War. She said the protesters were not anti-American, but fighting what she said is Gülen’s misuse of tax dollars from charter schools connected with the Gülen movement…

Ersin Bayraktar said he came with family from New York City and is an American citizen. “He is trying to control the politics and the future of Turkey,” he said. “And he is using our country, the United States, as his base.”

Armagan Yilmaz, who organized the protest, led Turkish chants and held up posters of young people he said had been killed by forces under Gülen’s control.”

The commanding State Police officer at the protest commented of his appreciation for the peaceful attitude of the group, and one protester thanked the officer for the troopers’ attitude saying “In Turkey the police are violent”.

Jihad? No Jihad here, move along! (Part 1)

“If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, does it make any sound?” If Islam invades a society and no one reports it, is it really happening?

IN THE midst of all the debate and distraction that has grabbed the attention of the American people over the last year, it seems that the “Islamic Colonial Movement” (ICM) in the United States has increased it’s intensity. While we were busying ourselves with partisan primary elections, general elections, and whatever new “crisis du jour” is currently perpetrated upon the minds of America, from school shootings to “fiscal cliffs”, from draconian threats upon Constitutionally recognized unalienable rights to “Sequestration”, ICM has been steadily and aggressively stepping up their agenda. We are now beginning to enter into the 4th of 5 phases in the Muslim Brotherhoods plan for the Islamic invasion of America as laid out by Gaubatz and Sperry in Muslim Mafia.

Phase I: Establish an elite Muslim Leadership and raise Islamist consciousness in the community;

Phase II: Create Islamic institutions that the leadership can control and form autonomous Muslim enclaves;

Phase III: Infiltrate America’s political and social institutions forming a shadow state; escalate conversions; manipulate mass media to remove language offensive to Islam;

Phase IV: Open hostile public confrontation over U.S. policies, riot, make militant demands for special rights and accommodations;

Phase V: Wage final conflict and overthrow (jihad).

The first established Muslim Brotherhood organization in the US was the Muslim Students Association in the early 1960’s. Until then there was scant evidence in America that Islam even existed.

Nation of Islam

Wallace Fard Muhammad (Wallace Dodd Ford) founded the only preceding “Islamic” named organization in America in 1930. This organization was borne out of a quasi-Islamic cult known as the Moorish Science Temple which combined beliefs from Buddhism, Christianity, Freemasonry, and other religions besides Islam. The first time I ever heard of anything Islamic was family members discussing the conversion of the boxer Cassius Clay, who took the Muslim name “Mohammad Ali”. Shortly thereafter, I remember hearing the names “Malcom X, Kareem Abdul Jabbar (formerly Lew Alcinder), and something called “The Nation of Islam” (NOI), a popular anti-establishment political movement that had run parallel to the civil rights movement, apart from Martin Luther King. NOI is seen as “heretical” by true Islam, but has had interesting intercourse with the likes of Moammar Ghaddaffi of Libya, who is known to have funded NOI projects, and Sudan as well as Iraq and Iran. NOI’s leader Louis Farrakhan was offered $1 billion by Ghaddaffi. In 1996 Farrakhan was quoted as saying, ““God will not give Japan and Europe the honor of bringing down the United States. This is an honor God will bestow upon Muslims.”

This common objective has been enough, for at least through the 1990’s, for the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist minded anti-American organizations and nations to use the NOI as a handy tool, especially in urban America. (Many of the earlier converts to NOI who became more serious about their foray’s into Islam eventually left NOI for more orthodox Sunni teachings, i.e. Malcom X, Mohammad Ali). Today NOI is pretty much a laughing stock to true Muslims and no longer needed to advance the Islamist cause, although don’t be surprised to see NOI become involved in Jihad when the time comes. I had a debate online with a young NOI member who told me he was going to kill me as soon as Farrakhan gives the order to begin the work of reparations.

Entering Phase IV

In case you have any doubt that the Islamic Colonial Movement has turned up the heat allow me to review a few news items that weren’t worthy of much mainstream media coverage over the last few months. January 31, 2013 marked the 7th annual “Texas Muslim Capital Day“, an event not exclusive to Texas by the way where, according to World Net Daily, the Dallas-Ft. Worth CAIR Director Mustafa Carrol opined, “If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land.” (Most states are seeing such activities at their statehouse’s during legislative sessions these days.)

Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is the ‘point of the spear’, or should I say the ‘edge of the scimitar’ in the “Culture Jihad” in North America, as declared by the Muslim Brotherhood. CAIR director Nihad Awad, among other CAIR executives and co-founders Ibrahim Hooper and Omar Ahmad, were also executives for the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), the mother group of CAIR and one of many US based Islamic groups named as “un-indicted co-conspirators” in the largest terror finance trial in US history, United States vs Holy Land Foundation, which was found guilty (along with its 5 executives) on 108 counts of providing support to terrorists, tax fraud, money laundering and conspiracy. IAP was closely affiliated with HLF which was established to provide Hamas support. CAIR, IAP, HLF, and Hamas along with other mainstream groups such as Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), North America Islamic Trust (NAIT), Muslim American Society (MAS), and Muslim Students Association (MSA) are all subgroups of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Another of these groups is MPAC (Muslim Public Affairs Council) who pressured Department of Homeland Security to cease profiling air passengers who come from those countries likely to be home to Islamist radicals. By the end of 2010 MPAC had trained 2,200 Transportation Safety Officers (TSO) in showing proper respect to Muslim travellers when passing through airport security, as well as proper handling of the Koran.

Not that MPAC had anything to do with it, but just recently news broke that a USAF Chaplain was awarded the bronze star for his heroic work developing a powerpoint program which schools US Military and civilian contractors going into Afghanistan on showing proper respect for the Koran and elevating sensitivity to “what constitutes Islamic religious material”…“When a Muslim writes down even a few verses from the Quran on a piece of paper,that immediately gets that same protected status.” This action came swiftly on the heels of the accidental burning of Koran’s in Afghanistan by US troops, which had been used to pass written messages between detainees. No such sensitivity training required concerning the handling of the Bible, however, after hundreds of Bibles were ordered burned by US troops to avoid offending our gracious Afghani hosts.

Freedom of Speech

The ICM in America continues to repress freedom of speech, particularly when it comes to criticizing Islam. Last year in Dearborn, MI. Christians holding signs and witnessing were stoned and driven out of the Arab Festival, by over a hundred Muslim kids hurling filthy language along with rocks, bottles, water, urine, crates, eggs and anything else they could grab, while their parents were looking on. Dearborn police couldn’t spare 2 officers to protect the Christian group, who were legally assembled, but employed 15 to escort them out of the area, making it plain that they, as sign holders were the threat, not the people attacking them, emboldening the riotous crowd.

On September 11, 2012 the American Ambassador to Libya was killed, along with three other Americans, two of which fought valiantly to the death protecting many other Foreign Service personnel, fighting for hours, waiting for the White House to give the order to send rapid response teams (who were ready to deploy) to their aid. The order never came, and all those teams could do was pick up the pieces. Immediately the White House set forth a propaganda machine blaming a cheaply made, little exposed (until then it had received a few hundred hits) film trailer for inciting the entire Middle East, resulting in protests in Egypt, Yemen, and other places, and ultimately causing the death of these 4 Americans in Libya. That propaganda has been proven to be blatantly false, but the producer of the film was arrested, just as Sec. of State Clinton promised the father of one of the Navy SEALs who died behind his machine gun waiting for Washington.

The Obama administration held to that theme for almost 3 weeks and President Obama made it the centerpiece of his United Nations speech on Sept. 25th, 2012, when he said, “The future must not belong to those who would slander the Prophet of Islam.” The following excerpt is from my previous post on that speech:

“Only under Islamic Law, ala the Sharia, can someone be charged with slander by criticizing Muhammad, or Islam, or even Muslims. In America you can criticize any religious figure, book, government official, teacher, neighbor, or family member without fear of retribution. It is an essential and inherent right, and the Founders understood freedom of speech to be so, in order to arrive at the truth of any matter and specifically to maintain personal liberty without fear of an oppressive governmental authority. In Islam, Sharia is the government.”

Free speech indeed. The President’s stern declaration warning anyone who dared to “slander the prophet” quickly emboldened the “Culture Jihadi’s” from the ICM and the screenshots below are from the Islamic Society of Kansas City who posted a petition to urge the President to pass a “Blasphemy Law” in the United States of America!

The text of the ISGKC petition, directed to the President, begins with, “The undersigned Board Of Directors and members of the Islamic Society of Greater Kansas City (ISGKC) urges you to sponsor a bill that outlaws any action that may insult one’s religion…when the allowance of “free” speech incites violence it should be banned…The film is repulsive to the sensibilities of Muslims and offends the religion of Islam in multiple ways; by denigrating the seriousness of Islam, our Prophet and the Muslims in general. We believe that it would be in everyone’s interest to ban such actions from reoccurring.” And then the final nail, “…We condemn the violence and feel that, in spite of the First Amendment of the U. S. Constitution, action may be necessary to pass such a bill or, at least, censure such actions in order to calm the current situation as well as prevent future re-occurrences.” Almost rings of a threat, doesn’t it? Paraphrased it could read, “If you want to prevent future violence you’d better punish those who blaspheme Muhammad, Islam, or Muslims.”

The thing that startled me is that they actually see an ally in this President. They seem to know him better than the average voter. This assault is not just happening here on the national level, but the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is working this same angle in the United Nations. (OIC represents the 56 Islamic states around the world and is seeking their own seat on the UN Security Council.)

Who is ISGKC? Well, that is the Kansas City chapter of ISNA (see above) and close affiliate of CAIR (also above), who is also under the umbrella organization of The Muslim Brotherhood, the major force in the ICM in North America.

Virginia Imam: “Arms for Jihad”

“They are already calling us terrorist, anyway…make the title worth it!”

So says Imam Sheikh Shakir of the Dar al-Hijrah Mosque of Falls Church, Virginia. This speech was given January 26,2013 at a high school in Alexandria, Va. where the Imam was invited to address the 1st anniversary of the Ethio-Muslims movement in America. This post and video is not so much about the Ethopian movement, but to show this Imam to the public, in his own words, advocating the Quran based teachings of Islam: That you are to have allegiance to, or obey none but Allah, to fight jihad, as a united force using the the “3 powers of Faith, Unity, and Armaments.”

Watch the host scramble to the microphone to disclaim the Imam’s advocacy for armed jihad. I do not necessarily condemn the Ethiopian immigrants here and extend good wishes for the seventeen non-violent protesting Muslims who are being held and abused by the Ethiopian government. But this Imam knows Islam. He knows Quran and he knows Sharia. What he is advocating is not “extremism” but the same practice of Islam that Seyyid Qutb advocated.

Did I mention that Sheikh Shakir is the Imam at Dar al-Hijrah Mosque? That’s the same mosque that was led by Imam Anwar al-Alawki, and was attended by some of the 9-11 hijackers…and Major Nidal Hassan, the Fort Hood jihadi…in Falls Church…Virginia…yeah that’s the one. Please watch the video.

Boston Globe vs Free Speech

This kind of thing is happening all across America. This is just one example of a dhimmi societal position and an agenda driven political movement which will use any ally necessary to further its own agenda. It causes government bureau’s, media reporters, and politicians alike to self censor in order to avoid making the “ally look bad”. This country is not immune, yes perhaps even more vulnerable, than countries all around the globe who are experiencing Islamic Colonization at a breakneck pace. The enemy of Islamic Fundamentalism is not coming…It Is Here, and will not be stopped!

Boston Globe vs Free Speech

A troubled young man plans to go on a shooting rampage at a local mall. A devoted fan of other mass murderers, he gets pleasure watching videos of cruel and graphic violence: actual beheadings, disembowelments, maimings. He hates his neighbors and wishes for their deaths. He’s been taught to hate by religious extremists who dominate his community while intimidating their opponents into silence. The FBI catches him before he can go through with his plan to machine gun shoppers at the mall, though the Bureau ignores the people who indoctrinated him. The extremists, meanwhile, are demanding that the would-be murderer be released. They teach their children that he is a hero, and that those who stopped him from slaughtering innocent people are the true villains. A local newspaper journalist knows all this but for motives unknown, she refuses to report this story.

This is not a fictional account. On November 10, 2010, we met with Boston Globe’s religion reporter Lisa Wangsness and briefed her for over two hours on a troubling story. A year before, the FBI had arrested Tarek Mehanna, an Islamic extremist from Sudbury, Massachusetts whom it accused of providing material support to Al Qaeda and plotting a shooting spree at the Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro, MA. In intercepted conversations, Mehanna celebrated the 9/11 hijackers as heroes. According to the indictment, “Mehanna and his coconspirators, who shared videos and took real pleasure in the deaths of American servicemen, seemed to delight in the most horrific atrocities.” Watching Iraqi terrorists tearing open a dead U.S. Marine’s rib cage and setting it on fire with gasoline, Mehanna gloated: “heh yeah… nice juicy BBQ… Texas BBQ is the way to go.” Trial documents show that Mehanna and his co-conspirators referred to themselves as the American wing of Al Qaeda in Iraq. Mehanna was convicted on all charges last year and sentenced to 17 years in prison.

We also shared with the Globe’s reporter evidence of an intense campaign by local Islamic extremists to pressure the Justice Department to release Mehanna back into the community that he had planned to attack. The extremists insisted that the twisted mind revealed in FBI-recorded conversations was actually a gentle soul who loved children and playing with his cat. Claiming that Mehanna’s arrest was nothing but a witch hunt by the FBI, which they accused of hating Muslims, they incited their followers against the U.S. government by painting the ghoulish would-be killer as the victim.

We showed Ms. Wangsness that well-known religious leaders with connections to Massachusetts political and civic leadership were involved in this campaign. Among them was Imam Abdullah Faaruuq, then the Muslim Chaplain at Northeastern University and a frequent preacher at the largest mosque in the Northeast, the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center. (Faaruuq was dismissed from his position at Northeastern after we exposed his actions in support of Mehanna and other convicted terrorists.)

Her own newspaper reported that another respected local Muslim leader supporting Tarek Mehanna was a medical doctor named Abdul Cader Asmal, co-chairman of communications for the Islamic Council of New England. In 2011, Dr. Asmal was stripped of his medical license by disciplinary action from the Massachusetts Board of Medicine.

At our meeting with Ms. Wangsness, we traced for her a timeline of Mehanna’s trajectory from a Sudbury, MA teenage son of Egyptian immigrants to a budding Al Qaeda terrorist. Mehanna had been radicalized at the Islamic Center of Worcester and the Islamic Center of New England in Sharon, Massachusetts. We showed her documents revealing that these mosques were led by imams who happened to be the brothers of one of the most wanted terrorists in the world, Hafiz Saeed. Saeed, who had visited the Boston area when Mehanna was 12, is the Pakistani mastermind of one of the world’s deadliest mass mall shootings: the 2008 Mumbai Massacre. According to the Times of India, his Massachusetts-based brothers raised money and recruited members for his terrorist group in the Bay State.

Ms. Wangsness learned how the Islamic Center of Worcester, in particular, actively engages in youth indoctrination. During Mehanna’s trial, the mosque’s elementary schoolchildren were tasked with drawing “Free Tarek Mehanna” posters and then carted off to the Federal Court building in Boston to chant anti-American slogans.

We shared with Ms. Wangsness interviews with moderate Muslims who reached out to us asking for help in fighting the extremists who had hijacked their community and are brainwashing their children. We showed her a vicious and threatening letter that local extremist leader Nabeel Khudairi sent to a moderate Muslim who dared challenge the extremists in his mosque.

She looked at all our evidence, thanked us politely, and reported nothing. Now perhaps we can understand why.

On January 30, 2013, Wangsness spent part of the day working with Abdul Cader Asmal — the disgraced medical doctor and supporter of Tarek Mehanna; with officials from the Islamic Center of Worcester — which was the incubator for Mehanna’s hatred and still may be for dozens of young children; and with Nabeel Khudairi — the intimidator of moderate Muslims. Their goal, according to leaked emails, was to pressure the Catholic Diocese of Worcester to cancel a talk by Robert Spencer, a well-known critic of Islamic doctrine, especially its treatment of non-believers, whom they falsely accused of hating Muslims.

They succeeded. The Worcester Diocese cancelled Spencer’s talk without the courtesy of informing him directly. He had to learn about it from Wangsness, who reached out to him for comment in a series of emails whose line of questioning followed the “have you stopped beating your wife?” formula. The article she published in the next day’s Boston Globe (“Catholic event cancels talk by Islam critic”) was a foregone conclusion: Spencer was portrayed as a villain, while Wangsness’s extremist associates were made to look like sympathetic victims. Though the article quoted Abdul Cader Asmal positively as a doctor, it made no mention of his permanent removal from practice through disciplinary action.

Robert Spencer is a controversial author and speaker, yet in some ways, his views on Islam tend to be more scholarly than many of the atheist critics of Christianity, who, without much fuss, populate American universities and cultural institutions. Spencer forcefully makes the point that, as with all religions, adherents range widely — from the absolute literalists to the largely secular “cultural” Muslims. Spencer says he is not against Muslims, but against the political aspect of Islam, which demands that its followers act — violently if necessary — to subjugate infidels and establish a theocracy.

Disagreeing with Spencer is simply not a valid reason to prevent people from hearing his arguments and his warnings. A pluralistic and open society must always favor the free exchange of all ideas to the intolerant suppression of dissent. It is sadly ironic, though no longer surprising, that a member of the press would join Islamist extremists in trying to suppress free speech, and — in Wangsness’ case — go as far asto effectively censor information related to extremist activities.

Why would Ms.Wangsness behave this way? Surely she doesn’t share the radical Islamic ideological hatred toward America espoused by the people she’s protecting. Much more likely, she believes in the political dogma adopted by the ‘social justice‘-seeking media and civic elites. It is based on the false narrative that American Muslims constitute a “vulnerable minority,” which deserves protection from criticism — even if such protection involves the suppression of facts and the repression of critics. Sadly, too many journalists and political leaders collaborate with this crusade against the truth, and too many newspapers make it a matter of editorial policy. Journalists like Lisa Wangsness of the Boston Globe have largely become instruments of a truly illiberal orthodoxy. Its fetishes and myths — that Western culture is racist, that Islam is the religion of peace, that Muslims are always victims, and that anyone who says otherwise must be denounced and silenced — can never be questioned. It is through this dogmatism that the radical Islamists have won from the media and political elites a special set of protections.

Commenting on the infamous YouTube video criticizing Islam’s prophet Mohammed, which resulted in Muslim mobs rioting and killing around the world, President Obama expressed a strange view on the concept of dissent in a free society. He said: “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.” With this statement, Obama attacked the right to criticize Islam, and he was in effect targeting not only YouTube provocateurs, but also people like Robert Spencer.

Not enough significance has been paid to the implications of the president’s bizarre pronouncement. Obama left unsaid what he thinks should be done with those who criticize Islam in order to ensure that “the future must not belong” to them. However, the subsequent arrest of the producer of the offending YouTube video on charges that posting the video violated his probation, speaks louder than words. Will Robert Spencer and other authors and scholars who find sufficient reason to criticize any aspect of Islam have to worry about special scrutiny that could lead to prosecution or face other, more subtle, government sanctions?

Amazingly, such threats to freedom of expression seem not to bother those who otherwise make criticism of those in power the key element of their profession. This is not a new phenomenon. In his essays, “Writers and Leviathan” and “The Prevention of Literature,” George Orwell seems to speak from the grave directly to Lisa Wangsness and journalists like her:

Freedom of the Press, if it means anything at all, means the freedom to criticize and oppose… To yield subjectively, not merely to a party machine, but even to a group ideology, is to destroy yourself as a writer… If you possess information that conflicts with the prevailing orthodoxy you are expected either to distort it or to keep quiet about it… Even a single taboo can have an all-round crippling effect upon the mind, because there is always the danger that any thought which is freely followed up may lead to the forbidden thought.

A modern literary intellectual lives and writes in constant dread — not, indeed, of public opinion in the wider sense, but of public opinion within his own group. As a rule, luckily, there is more than one group, but also at any given moment there is a dominant orthodoxy, to offend against which needs a thick skin… To accept an orthodoxy is always to inherit unresolved contradictions… In every such case there is a conclusion which is perfectly plain but which can only be drawn if one is privately disloyal to the official ideology. The normal response is to push the question, unanswered, into a corner of one’s mind, and then continue repeating contradictory catchwords.

Ms. Wangsness has redefined the role of the journalist from providing true information to promoting a group’s dominant orthodoxy, which in this case also requires blacklisting, silencing, and employing neo-McCarthyism against those who violate its taboos. The ultimate victims here are the people of New England, who are kept ignorant of the potential dangers in their community. The Grand Deception: Muslim Brotherhood in America

I have written numerous articles here about the Islamic invasion of America and the major operative organization in that endeavor, the Muslim Brotherhood. Furthermore I have published documents such as “The Strategic Goal of the Muslim Brotherhood in North America”, which was captured by FBI in Virginia and used as evidence in the “U. S Govt. vs Holy Land Foundation” trial of 2008, exposing numerous Islamic groups and organizationsin the USA as terrorist financiers around the world, and a few other articles that I have not authored. Steven Emerson

Steven Emerson is possibly the foremost authority on Islamic Jihad in America, and has been at the task of exposing the threat since his first documentary aired on PBS back in 1994. His subsequent works such as American Jihad: The Terrorists Living Among Us have been a gold mine for “counter jihad” patriots and curiosity seekers alike, who desire to learn more about the subject. Emerson is the Executive Director of the Investigative Project on Terrorism.

Islamofascism: A new documentary exposes the Muslim Brotherhood as a “subversive menace” hiding in plain sight. Forget the Mideast; this group threatens us in our backyard.

In “The Grand Deception,” producer and award-winning journalist Steve Emerson spends 70 minutes documenting how the radical Brotherhood’s tentacles have reached deep inside the U.S. political system over the past few decades.

The footage Emerson obtained of these Islamists speaking candidly behind closed doors is stunning. They may mouth pleasantries to our face, but behind our backs they’re plotting our destruction. Emerson showed them praying in Congress or breaking bread in the White House as “peace-loving moderates,” then revealed them just days later damning America and calling for violent jihad against us and our allies.

The treachery of Siraj Wahhaj, one of the Brotherhood’s celebrated imams, is most chilling. At first, we see him humbly giving the invocation before Congress as the first Muslim clergyman to do so. Within days of that prayer, he’s back at his Brooklyn mosque spewing venomous hatred about America and non-Muslims.

“You know what this country is? It’s a garbage can,” Wahhaj snarls in a sermon to his flock. “It’s filthy.” He prays America “crumbles” and is replaced by Islam. Then he calls for jihad. You see one clip, then the other, and the deceit and duplicity are just breathtaking.

We also see, in another scene, prominent Brotherhood leader Abdurahman Alamoudi — once a White House fixture and State Department goodwill ambassador — publicly denouncing terrorism. “We are against all forms of terrorism,” he claims. In another scene, we see the same man, now safely in front of a group of Muslims, exalting Hamas and Hezbollah.

Then he’s heard at a mosque exhorting the faithful to transform America into “a Muslim country, even if it takes 100 years.” Finally we overhear him grumbling in an FBI wiretap that al-Qaida didn’t kill enough Americans in the African embassy bombings.

Today, Alamoudi is behind bars for plotting terrorism. The U.S. learned he’d been secretly raising funds for al-Qaida only after he’d infiltrated the highest echelons of our government. And only after he’d created the Muslim chaplain corps for the Pentagon that’s still in use.

The documentary exposes a very clever — and insidious — enemy, more so than the communists. It operates, as one interviewed FBI agent describes it, a “tangled web” of front groups and mosques all hiding behind religion and the First Amendment, and all lavishly funded by the Saudi government.

Another agent interviewed on camera recounts how he saw a banner at an Islamic Society of North America event in the Midwest that read: “DEATH TO ISRAEL. DEATH TO AMERICA.” An ISNA official, Sayyid Syeed, is caught on tape saying, “Our job is to change the Constitution of America.”

Agents described the alphabet soup of Brotherhood fronts — including ISNA and CAIR (the Council on American-Islamic Relations) — as a “Trojan horse.” Indeed, these groups have been regular guests at the Obama White House, despite being named unindicted terrorist co-conspirators in 2008.

To eradicate this internal threat, a President Romney will have to clean house. He’d also be well-advised to designate the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization, then use RICO statutes to break up its subversive U.S. racket.

Nancy Pelosi Fundraising with HAMAS tied CAIR for Democrats

You won’t be seeing this “undercover” photo on mainstream media outlets like the one of Romney at an exclusive high dollar fundraiser. This Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee event cost a minimum of $5000 per person up to and over $30,000 per couple. (View the invitation here)

Visible in the photo are Nancy with Nihad Awad (foreground), the co-Founder of the HAMAS benefactor Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). This Islamist and terrorist funding organization was named “unindicted co-conspirator” in the largest terrorist funding trial in American history. Why are they still “unindicted”? One Barak Hussein Obama became President of the United States and shut down the machine pursuing these terrorist affiliated groups in the United States. In fact, by now, CAIR has been successful in re-defining the United States government policy in almost every facet of national security and policy.

They are quite effective at fundraising and funneling lots of money, so no surprise that CAIR plays a major part in campaign efforts by the Democratic National Committee and its subsidiaries. It should also come as no surprise that these Islamist groups like CAIR, MPAC (Muslim Public Affairs Council), Muslim Students Association (MSA) and a plethora of other Muslim Brotherhood front groups have taken such an active role in the election of Democrat candidates all across America. In this article on The Daily Caller, Awad is quoted in an Arabic Al-Jazeera TV interview while discussing the Democratic Platform accepted at the 2012 DNC Convention as, “an indication that the Democratic Party’s political platform with regard to the Middle East is developing.” Particularly concerning the Party policy towards Israel.

The Fundraiser held last May, is one of many held to raise money to oppose such candidates as Rep. Col. Allen West and Rep. Michelle Bachman. The DNC, with the help of Muslim Brotherhood funding, have pumped millions into trying to unseat these good conservative Congressmen/women who understand the threat to National Security that these Islamist organizations pose. The Obama Campaign recently lost its Muslim Outreach coordinator, Mazen Asbahi, who resigned under the cloud of ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Not to worry though, as he is still working for the Obama camp and appeared at an American Muslim Democratic Caucus (AMDC)luncheon to verify that he is still “110% ” behind Obama and is still actively serving in Muslim Outreach for the campaign. The AMDC issued a press release saying the DNC has given its blessing to the Caucus which is devoted to bringing the Islamic community into political activism. Khilafah Conference 2012 in Chicago

UPDATE: According to this article on the Daily Herald the Khilafah Conference was moved at the last minute. After many calls and controversy, the “Meadows Club” which was to host the event, backed out. The conference will now be held in Hickory Hills. I find it extraordinary that Hizb ut-Tahrir is not on the Secretary of State’s list of foreign terrorist organizations in light of the information I quoted below that Morocco has banned it as a “saboteur organization”.—Original article below:

In a previous article entitled “New Khilafah” I explained how Islam is moving toward its “One World Government”, and some history on the last Caliphate. The Muslim Brotherhood was established in 1928 to restore that institution, and in 1953 another organization, Hizb ut-Tahrir was begun with that same objective. We saw the “Arab Spring” unfold last year and the resulting move to re-establishing of Sharia in those formerly authoritarian or dictatorial governments is under way. The move to unite the Islamic nation states continues to progress, and with Israel as the common nemesis, the fuel of hatred will not cease to advance the movement. The Muslim Brotherhood continues to consolidate power in these areas, and has been following its planned strategy of “Culture Jihad” throughout the West, particularly in the United States. This document, “An Explanatory Memorandum on the Strategic Goal for the Group [MB] in North America” which defines this plan was seized by the FBI from a Virginia mosque and entered in as evidence in the Holy Land Foundation terror funding trial of 2008. The memorandum outlines a “settlement” strategy which is intended to “eliminate and destroy the Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house by their hands, and by the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated…” (p.7).

Hizb ut-Tahrir (Party of Liberation) has gone so far as to criticize the Muslim Brotherhood’s political party in Egypt, “The Freedom and Justice Party”, for being too moderate in the process in Egypt. That’s a remarkable critique considering the calls from Egypt’s Brotherhood to void the peace treaty with Israel.

Hizb ut-Tahrir has been banned as a “saboteur group” in Morocco, and has gained new attention there just this week. The following is an excerpt from Magharebia a North African news website:

Hizb ut-Tahrir is a banned international Islamic party advocating the change of a “corrupt” society and turning it into an Islamic society. The party also embraces the Islamic call and jihad in hopes of realising the dream of a caliphate and the establishment of an Islamic state governed by the principle of halal and haram according to party supporters’ understanding.

Richid Elmounasafi, an analyst specialised in terrorism-related criminology, told Magharebia that “in its principles and major goals, Hizb ut-Tahrir is similar to many of the cells that were previously dismantled, such as the Ansar al-Mehdi cell led by Sheikh Hassan Khattab which was dismantled in August 2006 and which had the major goal of undermining the existing regime to establish the Islamic caliphate state.”

Michiganistan Police Shut Down Event Promoting US Constitution-TMLC Sues CAIR

ANN ARBOR, MI – In the middle of an event to extol the virtues of the U.S. Constitution and “American Laws For American Courts,” the audience learned first-hand how easy it is to lose their freedom of Speech and Assembly.

Amid shouts of “What about free speech?” from the audience, the Allegan Police Department ordered the event shut-down. School officials notified police that they had received a letter complaining about the event from Dawud Walid, Executive Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MI). The letter asked the school to disallow the event despite an existing contract. CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism funding trial in U. S. history, U.S. v. Holy Land Foundation.

As a result, the Thomas More Law Center (TMLC), a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, announced yesterday that the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR- MI), its Executive Director, the City of Allegan, theAllegan Police Department and the School District were named as defendants in a thirty-four page civil rights lawsuit filed in the Federal District Court for the Western District of Michigan, this morning. The claims included constitutional and contract violations. [Click here for copy of federal complaint]

Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Law Center commented, “It’s amazing how much clout CAIR has with the political establishment of both parties in Lansing and throughout Michigan and the nation. This, despite the fact that CAIR has its roots in the Muslim Brotherhood, was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, and the FBI’s former chief of counterterrorism, noted that CAIR, its leaders, and its activities effectively give aid to international terrorist groups.” Continued Thompson, “Press accounts make it clear that an indictment naming CAIR as a defendant in the Holy Land Foundation trial was squelched by Attorney General Holder’s office despite vehement objections by FBI agents and the federal prosecutors in Dallas.”

TMLC’s federal lawsuit was brought on behalf of State Representative David Agema; a chapter leader of ACT! for America, Elizabeth Griffin; Allegan County Commissioner, Willis Sage; and Mark Gurley, one of the event sponsors.

The event in question, entitled, “Constituting Michigan – Founding Principles Act” took place on January 26, 2012 at an Allegan High School auditorium which had been rented by Willis Sage.

The purpose of the event was to inform the public about the importance of honoring the United States Constitution, to recognize the internal threat to America posed by radical Muslims and the dangers to our free society caused by the imposition of Sharia law.

At first the Allegan police chief police indicated he shut down the event because of threats to one of the speakers, Kamal Saleem; however, shortly thereafter, the chief admitted to a reporter that there was no specific threat to the event and no real danger at all. In fact, no specific threats of violence relating to the event were received by the City of Allegan, its police department, the Allegan Public School District or Allegan Public High School.

Police gave as their reason, the appearance of one of the featured speakers, Kamal Saleem, a former Muslim terrorist who converted to Christianity. Saleem has spoken at numerous high schools and universities, Christian churches and Jewish temples across the nation. He has also spoken at the U. S. Air Force Academy, Michigan’s State Capital, and Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. At no time before the Allegan event or afterwards has an event where he has spoken been shut down by law enforcement.

Sage notified the Allegan police chief ten days before the event and invited him to check out the background of Saleem, which he never did.

State Representative David Agema is an elected State Representative for the 74th District serving in Michigan’s House of Representatives. He is a sponsor of HB 4769 entitled “Restriction of Application of Foreign Laws Act” (based on the American Laws for American Courts Model Act), which bans the use of foreign laws including Sharia law, by courts and administrative bodies of the State, when those laws conflict with fundamental rights protected by the Constitutions of the United States and the State of Michigan. Defendant Walid, is an outspoken opponent of HB 4769.

Elizabeth Griffin is a chapter leader for the organization, ACT! for America, a non-partisan, non-sectarian organization whose mission is to give Americans concerned about national security, terrorism, and the threat of radical Islam, a powerful, organized, informed and mobilized voice. Griffin promotes the “Constituting Michigan – Founding Principles Act”, which would require Michigan public schools to teach the history and Constitution of the United States. Griffin also guides and mentors chapter leaders for various chapters of the ACT! for America organization, as well as educates concerned Americans about the threat of Islamic Sharia law to our system of law in the United States.

Willis Sage is a County Commissioner for the County of Allegan, Michigan. Sage is the author of the “Constituting Michigan – Founding Principles Act,” which would require Michigan public schools to teach the history and constitution of the United States. He organized the event and rented the room at Allegan High School where the free speech event was held.

Plaintiff Mark Gurley was a sponsor of the event and paid for the airfare of Kamal Saleem. He is also an advocate of HB 4769, “Restriction of Application of Foreign Laws Act” (based on the American Laws for American Courts Model Act), sponsored by Plaintiff Agema.

Sharia Law: What is it?

If you have come to this site because of the headline question, I applaud your interest. There is much confusion as to what Sharia is and is not. I will endeavor to make this introduction to Sharia as simple and concise as possible, using quotes and references to Sharia’s own documentation*. For point of reference, “Sharia” translates “the Right Path”.

Most Americans believe Sharia to be no different to Muslims than the Catechism to Catholics or church tenants to Protestant Christians. Absolutely NOT so. Many Islamist groups such as CAIR, MSA, MAS, MPAC, ISNA, ICNA, and many others have allowed that false idea to perpetrate and even promoted it, under the Sharia principle of “taqiyya” (deception), as a religious freedom issue protected under the Constitution.

Taqiyya is not only permission by Sharia, but direction to lie [r8.1 “…obligatory to lie if the goal is obligatory…” (which Jihad/dawa is)] in order to advance the cause of Islam, which is not to convert the entire world to be Muslim; but to bring the entirety of the world under rule of Sharia. In other words, you can be a Christian or Jew or even Zoroastrian, and live under rule of Sharia as a second class citizen. This is called “Dhimmitude”. It is covered in Sharia under the section on “Jihad” [o9.O] as “Non-Muslim subjects of the Islamic State (Al-Dhimma)” [subsection o11.O]. This status of “mercy” is extended to any religion whose sacred book is recognized by Islam at the time of Muhammud. It does not include idol worshipers, pagans, athiests, Mormons, Sikhs, Bahais, etc. These people are given opportunity to convert to Islam or die.

As a “dhimmi”, or subject of Islam, you must agree to acquiesce to Islam in all things. Pay the “Jizya tax”, the “non-Muslim poll tax” (protection money), refrain from any public display of non-Islamic religion including funerals, weddings, Barmitzva’s, ringing of church bells, display of crosses, menorah’s, Star’s of David, etc., because these practices and symbols are an affront to Islam. You may not quote Scripture aloud, celebrate Holy Days (Christmas, Easter, Passover, etc) and pork and wine are strictly forbidden. Proselytizing Muslims, criticizing Islam or Muhammud, and many other things are treated under the code of Sharia as subject to capital punishment[o11.11 referencing o9.14].

These are just a couple of relevant subjects discussed in Sharia. Sharia is the legal skeleton which supports the full and complete practice of Islam. Without Sharia you have no Islam (“Submission”). Without Sharia, Islam is powerless.

Never think for one minute that Islam is simply a religion, comparable to other religions, and Sharia is simply it’s tenants, or statement of faith. Islam is a complete socio-political ideology with its own jurisprudence, wearing a veil of religion.

Islam, by its very nature, must not co-exist with other religions, and the “Great Commission” given to Muslims is to bring the World into subjection to Islam, establish the Sharia, so that “Allah’s religion reign Supreme” [Quran 8:39].

I mentioned earlier that Islamists are promoting Sharia as simply a religious freedom issue, protected under the Constitution of the United States. Sharia flies in the face of the Constitution. Under Sharia there is no separation of “mosque and state” because under Sharia the legal authority is the Imam. Just in the few examples I set forth previously, there are numerous infringements upon individual Liberty guaranteed by the Constitution. Freedom of speech, freedom of religious choice without government oversight, freedom of fraternization, and the list goes on.

Article Six of the US Constitution declares the Constitution to be the Law of the Land, so therefore Sharia attempts to abrogate the Constitution. There’s another term familiar with Islamic Jurists, “Abrogation”. (Check it out here)

There are currently running, advertisements by ICNA (Islamic Circle of North America-a Muslim Brotherhood operative) across the country on radio and billboards, which denounce man-made law (Constitution) and extol the virtues of Sharia (“God’s Law”)-they are saying “God’s Law” because if they said “Allah’s Law” you would immediately reject it. I have heard these advertisements on the radio myself.

It is no coincidence these ads began at the same time that most States Legislature’s convened for 2012. Some 20 states are considering “American Laws for American Courts”, or something very similar which will codify the already established and proven Constitution of the United States, prohibiting use of any jurisprudence which does not protect the rights and liberties of ALL people according to the Constitution.

Islamist groups are opposing this measure as a religious freedom issue and charging racism, xenophobia, and bigotry. Sorry. This law is teflon coated…those charges won’t stick.

UPDATE: This advertising campaign coincided with hearings in Kansas (and other states) on the “American Laws for American Courts” legislation, Kansas HB 2087. This bill underscores the liberties and freedoms set forth in the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Kansas. It will in no wise prohibit international contracts, but will protect individual freedoms and the right to be judged according to US and/or Kansas Law in court, and preclude use 0f Sharia or other law contradicting the Constitution.

Who’s Defining the Islamic Narrative in the USA?

Terrorist affiliates such as CAIR and MPAC, that’s who.

And you’ll not hear about it on domestic media outlets. Deputy U. S. Attorney General James Cole announced yesterday that he has ordered all law enforcement and security training manuals recalled in order to eliminate all references to Islam.

Why? CAIR and MPAC doesn’t like it!

Sounds harmless enough…until you realize CAIR was listed as an “Un-indicted Co-conspirator” in the largest single terrorism trial in United States history. CAIR is a known Muslim Brotherhood front group and was named in the “Holy Land Foundation“(headquartered in Richardson, TX) trial in 2008, as funneling American money to HAMAS. Who is CAIR? Council on American Islamic Relations.

CAIR was the Islamist group which filed a lawsuit against Oklahoma after that state’s residence voted overwhelmingly in favor of a Constitutional Amendment that would block usage of Sharia Law in the state of Oklahoma.

CAIR is at the forefront in the Islamic colonization of America, and has filed numerous lawsuits against a plethora of businesses, governments, and media figures who oppose their agenda and speak out against them. Pam Geller is one such target. Her blog “Atlas Shrugs” (on my blogroll) has been on the cutting edge of educating America on the dangers of Sharia. She, along with the attorney for Rifqa Bary, (a Muslim girl in Ohio who converted to Christianity and feared her life was in danger from her family) was sued by a CAIR attorney for $10 million damages for defamation.

CAIR is also pursuing the U. S. Military for tolerating intolerance of American Muslim soldiers by fellow soldiers, in the shadow of the Ft. Hood shooting by Nidal Hasan in 2009 and the more recent threat at Ft. Hood by the AWOL Nasser Jason Abdo.

So who is MPAC? Muslim Political Affairs Council.

This is the group who trains Transportation and Safety Officers (TSO’s) how to give halal pat downs to Muslim travelers. According to this article by Arutz 7, the MPAC President threatened the FBI with cutting off cooperation between the American Muslim community and Law Enforcement if the manuals were not revised.

The article goes on to say,

“Ties between CAIR and MPAC, both of whom have been guests of honor at numerous Federal events and symposiums, and Obama administration dinners, are well documented. Both organizations are members of the American Muslim Political Coordination Council, which seek to coordinate political advocacy efforts.”

Can it be any more clear where the Islamic narrative in America is coming from?

Social Justice: A Key Philosophy of Islam

What do Islamists, Socialists, Communists, Progressives and Greens all have in common? The ideal of “Social Justice”.

This Utopian philosophical mainstay has been around for quite a while and had its modern roots in the “Social Gospel” espoused by the Episcopalian Church in the early 20th century. Other similar variant philosophies such as “Liberation Theology” have come out of religious ideologies taught by Roman Catholic clergy in Latin America which merged Marxism with theological teachings of Utopian objectives. The United Methodist Church has fully embraced “Social Justice” as one of its “Methods”, citing “It is a governmental responsibility to provide all citizens with health care.” (Even the Green Party movement has as one of its “four pillars”, social justice as a basic tenet.) I don’t recall Jesus Christ ever admonishing the government of Rome to provide social services to its subjects. He did however, admonish His followers to provide for the poor…of their own initiative, not by compulsory government intervention.

Post Millennialism is an extra-Biblical doctrine in Christendom which says that in order for Jesus to return to Earth, Mankind must cleanse the world of all the social evils that plague the planet. In other words, when we get it right, He will return. Human nature is, of course, antithetical to that objective in light of the fact that all humans are sinful creatures; thus the need for redemption from the curse of death, visa vi the Savior. Post-Millennialism is indeed an ingenious method to distract “Christian” religious organizations who have “left their first love” and become diverted from proclaiming the Gospel of Christ to a lost and sinful world. It is a theological seed-bed for “Social Gospel” which is strictly a works based religious theology. To quote Adrian Rogers, it is “religion working to make the world a better place to go to Hell from.”

The Social Gospel was the root of “Progressivism” in early 1900’s US politics, which became more Leftist each time it “reformed”. Included in that early movement were names like Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, FDR.

Socialists of the same era included Upton Sinclair, founder of the ACLU and California candidate for governor who wrote,

“The American People will take Socialism, but they won’t take the label. I certainly proved it in the case of EPIC. Running on the Socialist ticket I got 60,000 votes, and running on the slogan to “End Poverty in California” I got 879,000.”

Another noteworthy name in American Progressive/Socialist politics is Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood and advocate of eugenics who was cited by Nazi’s at the Nuremberg Trials as foundational in developing their own programs of genocide and sterilization. Planned Parenthood annually awards recipients worthy of her memory. Recipients include names such as Jane Fonda, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Ted Turner.

Today, Progressives are a large part of both the Green and Democrat parties, while raw Socialists, Marxists, Anarchists, and Communists pretty much make up the remainder of the two. Just my opinion…(Heck, progressives are entrenched in the Republican Party as well. We call them “Moderates”.)

Today’s proponents of Social Justice are a mix of religious zealots, atheistic Leftist elites, and a smattering of environmentalist activists (most of these would qualify as religious zealots). It is an ideology which has infiltrated American institutions from the schoolhouse, to the mainstream churches, to the media.

“Social justice” is one of the core values of Fethullah Gulen’s “Turkish Movement”. The not so “moderate” Muslim Brotherhood also espouses social justice as a core value. Stands to reason as this is one of the key principles of Islam.

You see in Islam, just as in Socialism, Progressivism, and Communism, it is the government’s/ruler’s responsibility to redistribute resources from those who have, or produce them, to those who have not. As Marx put it, “From each according to his ability to each according to his need.”

Yes, “social justice” translates as “income and/or property redistribution”. Now you know why Muslim’s vote Democrat.

This serves to explain the “unholy” alliance that has been made between the Left and Islamic activists in the West, especially in Canada and the United States. The shared ideologies of “solidarity”, “social justice,” and a common desire to smother capitalism and a free and open society, have consolidated the opponents of traditional American values into a deadly and powerful force that has found refuge in the highest offices in the land.

Aside from the long list of administrative appointments that our current President has given in sensitive positions (such as Department of Homeland Security) to at least one self-styled Communist, at least 3 Muslim Brotherhood affiliates, at least one open proponent of Sharia Law, and at least one documented socialist, (Not an exhaustive list, mind you; just a cursory perusal of Administration Staff) a recent poll indicates an overwhelming approval of the Obama Presidency among America’s Islamic community.

Pew Research Center released its latest polling data showing vast differences between the average American citizen and Muslim’s (American) satisfaction with the President. Whereas in 2007, President Bush’s approval among U. S. Muslims was 15% and 69% disapproved, the 2011 data showed that only 14% disapproved of President Obama while an overwhelming 76% approved.

As Pew said in its own report, “Muslim-Americans clearly see a friend in Obama.” You can read the Wall Street online article titled, “A Muslim President, After All”. This is quite revealing in light of the Gallup approval rating for Obama at 42%, the lowest among Americans since he took office, with a disapproval rating of 50%. His approval rating among American blacks (I refuse to hyphenate Americans) has dropped in the last 5 months from 83% to 58%, 18 points lower than that of America’s Islamic community.

So how is that religions and political ideologies that are so antithetically opposed to one another, such as Islam and atheistic Communism (or Progressivism) can cooperate so fully in their political endeavors? These forces have been at bloody odds for generations.

The “End Game” for both is the same. There is an old (supposed) Arab proverb, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend“. This is a doctrine that has been implemented by military powers throughout history and has been used by most. The Western Alliance and Russia both used each other to defeat the Nazi’s in WW2. It is no strange tool to politics. In fact, it is nearly a prescribed strategy in politics.

The interesting thing about this modern scenario in America, is each ideological group believes they will come out in control in the end. The basic premise is use the others to my advantage until our common enemy is vanquished, then I can overpower the other interests. It is classic Saul Alinsky. The Leftist Elite are so arrogant, they believe they can “be nice” to Islam and help/use Islam to subvert the American system and culture, and afterward; when the objective is reached and America is “Fundamentally transformed” (as Mr. Obama so eloquently put it) then Islam will politely co-exist with the Socialists. Laughable…

Every good Islamist and those who know Islam understand that “co-existence” is not in the Quranic vocabulary. But the arrogance of the godless Humanists brings a strong delusion which renders the mind incapable of basic reasoning skills and the natural instinct of survival. The principle of Abrogation, taught by Muhammad and attested to in Quran, does not allow Islam to “co-exist” with any government, culture, or religion. It must, by its very nature, dominate.

Someone is going to be very disappointed in “the enemy of his enemy” after the objective is accomplished. There is no dhimmitude status afforded atheists. There is no tolerance for intellectual dissension. Only conversion or death.

Social Justice? To the Leftist Elite it’s a Utopian pipe dream. To Islam? It is prescribed by Sharia. One needs only examine those countries where Sharia is enforced to see what a Utopian lifestyle is available there. Iran, Saudi Arabia, Somalia…

Social Justice indeed.

I guess it depends on who is “defining the narrative”…Keep in mind the Islamic narrative in the United States is currently being defined by CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood.

New Khilafah!

Make way for the “New Caliphate” that is currently being set up right before our very eyes! If you have been living in the Outback somewhere and haven’t yet learned the term “Caliphate”, just think of it as an Islamic Pope which not only rules the religion but all Islamic politics as well. It is a complete governing system by which the successors of the “Prophet Muhammad” went forth conquering and then ruling in the name of Allah, “The Compassionate, the Merciful”.

In past articles we have discussed how the Muslim Brotherhood is moving to accomplish this goal. Just one more time I will briefly review:

The last Caliphate was seated in Istanbul, Turkey for 400 years during the Ottoman Empire, until just after World War 1 when Mustafa Kemal Ataturk led the Turkish Revolution and abolished the highest Islamic clerical position in the world in 1924. He desired to strip Islam of the political stranglehold it had on the Muslim people, specifically the Turks, in order to bring his new civilized Republic roaring into the 20th Century. He reformed everything from government and education, to women’s rights and fashion, promoting modern Western style clothing as a means to modernize the psyche of the people. His success was magnificent, although not un-opposed. There was even an assassination attempt on him. Undaunted, Kemal continued his policy of denying Islam a political seat at the table of government. This division remained successful until the Islamist Movement within and from outside Turkey succeeded in getting a toehold in government once again with the formation in 2001 of the AKP (party) which has been steadily gaining in elections ever since. In fact, the two top officers in government, the President, Abdullah Gul, and the Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogen are both members of the AK Party.

Recent events in Egypt have initiated talks between Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood and the Turks. In fact, the Muslim Brotherhood have been in talks with many groups in many states throughout the region. The Brotherhood’s long and patient, growing presence in Egypt and neighboring countries is beginning to pay dividends for those Islamic Revolutionaries who have long dreamed of re-establishing the Caliphate.

Anyone who has walking around sense has been aware that if the Brotherhood was not completely responsible for the Egyptian revolt, they were certainly in support and cunningly working into position to co-opt the movement. All the West was touting the successful toppling of the dictator Mubarak, and completely oblivious to the designs of the Brotherhood. Most still are.

So to dispel any doubt that my cynicism is unfounded, take a look at this article in the Jerusalem Post quoting the new Egyptian Foreign Minister as saying that Iran should not be regarded by Egypt as an enemy state. He went on to add that Hezbollah is part of the political fabric of Lebanon and that communication between Hezbollah and Egypt is welcomed. For the first time in history you have Sunni Islam working with Shia Islam for a common objective!

Hamas in the “Palestinian” West Bank of Israel is also a Muslim Brotherhood group. In fact, during those years of every Egyptian President since Nassar, the Brotherhood members pursued by government for sedition found safe haven in Gaza and West Bank where they continued their jihad.

So what about Tunisia, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Bahrain? One by one these nation states are being re-organized. Why? Simply this: In order for these Islamic states to be “united”, or pulled together in an Islamic Federation, their irreligious authoritarian style governments must be broken down. What kind of Federation? Khalifa, of course.

The Caliphate is a requirement of Islam, particularly as we draw closer to the “coming of the Mahdi”. (Shia Islam calls him the Twelfth Imam.) This “Messianic” figure in Islamic theology will come to Earth during a time of unprecedented chaos, which must be brought about by a final push of Islamic domination of the entire world. The Mahdi will come and establish his position and go forth conquering the Earth for Islam, stamping out all other religions. In fact, Isa, the Muslim “Jesus” according to Hadith and Islamic scholars, will return and actually kill the Jews and Christians who refuse to follow the Mahdi. Isa will be, essentially the greatest military general in Islamic history. The Mahdi, upon his appearance, will lead a great army of Muslims on Jerusalem and set up his government from the Temple Mount, which of course used to be the site of the Jewish Temple and is now occupied by two mosque’s: The Al Aqsa Masjid and the more recognized Dome of the Rock. The Mahdi will appear riding upon a white horse and Islamic scholars insist the prophecy of Revelation 6:2 (yes, of the New Testament, no less!) is of the Mahdi himself.

Well, my Muslim Bible scholar friends, this prophecy is of the coming of a major figure indeed. However, this fellow is…well…the Antichrist! [There are many Islamic prophecies that line up perfectly with the Bible, only the characters are exactly the opposite. Walid Shoebat has done a lot of work on this topic and a book by Joel Richardson entitled “Islamic Antichrist” will pull it all into context for anyone interested.]

So you see, both Shia (Iran) and Sunni Islam share a common belief in the coming of a great “Messianic” character which will be the greatest leader the world has ever seen. He will complete the unification of the Islamic world and lead the extermination of Judaism and Christianity, paganism, and atheism for ever and finally, Allah’s religion will reign supreme, as the Koran calls for. The final Khalifate.

What’s that? You say you don’t believe in prophecy? Well, no matter…the Muslims do…

Islamic Reformation

Islam will never have a reformation

There has been lots of talk recently focused on the “Reformation” that Islam is currently experiencing. There are a handful of good people, Muslims, like Dr. Zudhi Jassar of Phoenix who is working tirelessly to bring a liberal view of Islam to life; and Ali Eteraz, who’s articles in the UK Guardian discuss the need to form a ‘Muslim Left’ which denies the legitimacy of theocratic governments.

However, these voices are lost in the cacophony of rhetoric from pro-Islamist groups such as CAIR, MAS, MSA, MPAC, ISNA, ICNA and the like. Then there is dawa, or “Islamic colonialism” being practiced and promoted far and wide by the “Turkish Delegation” through groups like the Turquoise Council of American Eurasians (TCAE), The Gulen Institute, and the Raindrop Turkish Houses which host countless receptions, breakfasts, socials, and trips to Turkey for public officials including everyone from the local firehouse, to city councils and mayors, to state legislators. These latter lobbyists forge relationships that serve to influence support and introduction of legislation particularly friendly to Islam.

Many self ascribed “experts” and “intellectuals” and bleeding heart “moderates” in American politics and academia have declared that Islam is struggling to emerge through a “Reformation” of the religion that will purify it and allow it to shed it’s violent and oppressive political nature, keeping intact those virtuous qualities of peace and benevolence with those who do not share the same beliefs. Usually they cite the Christian Reformation as the model for such a phenomena.

These pundits and commentators obviously have no grasp of religion of any kind, never mind the complex system we call Islam.

Christian Reformation

Firstly, I want to clarify that the Christian Reformation wasn’t about purifying or modernizing a “religion” or “faith”. The basis of the Christian faith, the Holy Bible, written by forty different inspired people over a period spanning 1500 years, was left intact and unchanged (although translated into several languages, which had been previously forbidden by Rome) throughout the process of the Reformation. The movement of “Reform” was a political move against the Papal authority of an organized Church over the whole of “Christendom”, which was a result unification of church and state by Constantine in 325 AD. There was nothing Biblical about this political move by the Emperor of Rome. Constantine unified church and state in order to preserve the Empire after Rome had failed to stamp out Christianity for 200 years. In fact, Jesus Himself actually taught separation of church and state when He was asked if the Jews should pay taxes to the Romans. His answer was “Whose image is on this coin? (Caesar’s) So then give to Caesar that which is Caesar’s and give to God that which is God’s.” (Of course the image of God is in mankind.)

The Reformation was not about changing the fundamentals of the Bible. It was a political movement. Thus, the “Protesting” resulted in “Protestants” rejecting the authority of the Papacy. [Indeed it was a bit more complex, but in a nutshell this was the Christian Reformation.] While there were some liturgical and practical changes made, the Bible was still the foundational document delineating the teachings of the founder, that being Jesus Christ, the perfect model for the aspiring Christian. The “fundamentals” remain yet today.

The glaring problem for “Islamic Reformation” is this: The fundamentals are flawed. Not only the self proclaimed prophet Muhammad, but the Koran itself is rife with inconsistencies. But the inconsistencies are not even the main problem. (These may be understood when considering the Islamic principle of “Abrogation”. That is to say if there are two differing instructions on the same matter, the latter verse abrogates the former.)

The consistent themes of the Koran and Hadith carried by the enforcement of Islamic Jurisprudence (Sharia Law) through an over arching political ideology are so intertwined they can never be separated. To live the fundamentals of Islam is to practice “Islamization” on a global scale because this is what Islam demands. There can be no separation of religion and state because the “religion’s” legal system must run the state, and will if Islam is allowed to run its natural course to fruition.

Islam is not simply a belief or a religion.

This has been the mistake of the last 50 years, especially here in America as well as Western Europe. To ascribe Islam as a religion gives it a free rein to infiltrate and affect not only culture, but politics and jurisprudence in a manner we would never allow another contradictory ideology or legal system.

Islam is a socio-political ideology with a religious aspect. In those nations or societies where Islam reigns supreme, competing religions or political movements are not only discouraged but forbidden. Just watch the news.

In order for a reformation to occur within Islam, first the Koran has to be open to critique and debate; It is not. Secondly, Muhammad must be availed to critique and scrutiny; He is not. Finally, Islam itself must be open to debate and self examination; It is not. Why? Because Allah, through his messenger Jibril, gave his ‘perfect Koran’ to his ‘perfect Prophet’. It is not open for doubt or debate; he reminds the reader about 200 times, “Do not doubt this Koran”. To change the founding document would be sacrilege and no doubt lead to “Fitna”, or civil war within the Muslim Ummah, the same way the standardizing the Koran did in the mid 7th Century. We have all seen the uproar caused by those who dare to criticize or characterize Muhammad.

This is the reason ‘Reform’ will never happen in Islam. If you take away the oppressive demand for submission; you have no Islam. If you rewrite the Koran to eliminate the Jihad, the racist element, the directives for dominating your women, the demand for world dominance of Allah’s perfect religion, then you have no Islam. If you eliminate the passages of Koran and Hadith regulating slavery, the supremacy of Muslims in society, and the directives to institute Islamic Law for the good of humanity, then you have no Islam.

Everyone knows that water consists of two hydrogen molecules and one oxygen. If you separate one hydrogen molecule from water, you no longer have water.

I must say I respect Dr. Jasser in his honorable intentions to separate the religion from the politics of Islam. But if you could do that, which you cannot, then you have no Islam. The very word “Islam” means “Submission”. This submission is not simply for the pious Muslim, but the Muslim is charged with the responsibility to advance the code of Islam into the culture or society until Islam reigns supreme and everyone, including non-Muslims, are subjugated under Sharia. Those Muslims who refuse this task, are shamed by the fundamentalists, who accuse them of “shirking” their responsibility. (“Shirk” is to disobey Allah)

Islam has already experienced its “Reformation”

Ibn Taymiyyah, 1268-1321, began a call to Muslims back to the fundamentals of Islam to follow more closely the teachings of Koran and Hadith. This was then refreshed and further advanced in the 18th Century by a student of Taymiyyah named Abd al Wahhab . Wahhab began to revive fundamentalist Islamic practices by first leveling the shrine at the grave of Zayd Khattab, the brother of the Caliph Omar. Wahhab contended it had become an object of idolatry. He then ordered the stoning of an adulteress, a practice which had become rare in the region. This kind of radical teaching brought some life threatening attention to Wahhab who left and settled in a village occupied by Muhammad Ibn Saud in 1740. Saud and Wahhab became inseparable and their heirs expanded their holdings by both dawa and military campaigns, gaining control of the modern day Arabian Kingdom. Their legacy continues today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where Wahhabism is both protected and funded throughout the globe. Wahhabism is the foremost source of radical Islamic fundamentalism and has influenced more or less nearly every other school of Islamic theology, particularly in Sunni Islam, which accounts for over 80% of Islam.

Hassan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood and Seyyid Qutb, both Egyptians, carried on the torch of fundamentalism throughout Sunni Islam by their writings and leadership from the 1920’s until Qutb’s execution in 1965 for sedition against the government of Egypt. This influence is more alive today than ever before, and on a global scale. The push is on for Islam to dominate the globe in this century, bringing the entire world into “submission to the religion of Allah” and all governments using the Sharia.

Such is the directive of Islam. Not to convert everyone to Muslim; but to subject everyone to Sharia. Only then can there be peace in the world.

The Patience of the Muslim Brotherhood: “Community Organizers”

As we watch events unfold in the Middle East, more information is coming to light about events leading up to the Revolution in Egypt. While there are many factors to consider, including the obvious that Mubarak was not too concerned with the economic welfare of his country or the Egyptian people, there has been a constant throughout the history of Egypt for over 80 years now. One thing that Mubarak was concerned about was the growing power of an outlaw group which has always had the Egyptian government in its sights.

In 1928 the formation of Al Ikhwan Al Muslimun, or “The Muslim Brotherhood” (MB) began a slow, diligent, and determined move by fundamentalist Muslims to influence governments around the world beginning at its birthplace, Egypt. It’s objective, to revive Islam and call Muslims from Jahiliya, “the condition of ignorance”, and re-assert global power and re-establish the Khalifa, that global Caliphate, which was the high point of Islamic civilization from the 7th Century until the fall of the Ottoman Empire after WWI.
There has been a lot of arguing about what the Ikhwan is and what it is not. I prefer to allow it to identify itself. The creed of the Muslim Brotherhood pretty much says it all: “Allah is our goal; the Messenger is our guide; the Koran is our law; Jihad is our means; and martyrdom in the way of Allah is our inspiration.” Anything we add to that mission statement is supplemental.

Another point of clarification could be those who are currently and have been involved in the MB. Besides Hassan Al-Banna, the founder of MB, the chief narrative has come from Seyyid Qutb, author of Milestones, which was intended to be the vanguard document for global Islamic Revival, returning Muslims to a fundamental adherence to the “one true religion of Allah”. Qutb was very disappointed in his fellow Muslims and declared that they had fallen into a state of ignorance not matched since Muhammad himself had pulled the pagan, idolatrous, Arabs out of “jahili” and into the true place of Islam, “Submission” to Allah.

Qutb repeatedly scolds them for succumbing to Western influences of prosperity, nationalism, and capitalism, and reminds them that the collective, that is the “Ummah”, is priority. It is the Muslim’s duty to bring all governments under Islamic control, as one Islamic Nation of Muslims, and in 1965, Seyyid Qutb was executed for sedition against the government of the United Arab Republic of Egypt.

The interesting thing about Egypt is its own Constitution declares in Article Two that Islam is the official religion of the land, and that all laws must be in compliance with Islamic Jurisprudence, i.e. Sharia Law. Ever since Egypt gained its independence from Great Britain, the Islamists have struggled to gain power and hold the government in compliance with their own Constitution.

President Gamal Nassar (1954-1970) allied himself with the Soviets during the Cold War in exchange for military aid and power guarantee. He was brutal to the MB and those not executed were jailed indefinitely. Anwar Sadat succeeded Nassar in 1970 after Nassar died, and began moving away from Soviet allegiance and courted the United States, instituting Western style capitalist economic policy, encouraging foreign and private investment.

In 1973 Sadat tried to recover the Sinai, which Nassar lost in the ’67 war, but was again defeated by Israel. Finally, Anwar Sadat was successful politically in regaining Sinai in exchange for a formal peace treaty with Israel in March 1979. This made him famous in the world scene, winning the Nobel Peace Prize, but also got Egypt ejected from the Arab League of Nations.

The MB had been severely held in check by Sadat, but this treaty with Israel would cost Sadat his life. A MB operative within the Egyptian Army gunned down Sadat and several other Egyptians along with foreign dignitaries from many countries, including the US, during a military review in 1981. Wounded in that attack by MB was one Hosni Mubarak.

In spite of Mubarak’s persecution of the Ikhwan, they have steadily gained power politically and socially across Egypt, making hay with Mubarak’s poor economical policies, until currently at least 20% of the population identify themselves directly with the MB. That’s over 16 million people…

In a short recount of current events concerning MB, recent facts reported by Florida Security Council show that changes within MB’s leadership may have accelerated the events unfolding in Egypt.

Muhammad Badie, a lifelong associate and leader within MB was actually imprisoned with Seyyid Qutb in 1965, and served 9 years of a 15 year sentence before being released. Badie married the daughter of a Brotherhood pioneer named Mohamed Ali Alshenawy, who also served life in prison, avoiding a death sentence given in 1954.

On 10/10/2010 Dr. Muhammad Badie issued a declaration of jihad on the US and Israel. In December the uprising in Tunisia began. January 8th, 2011, Al Ahzar University at Cairo’s Dr. Imad Mustafa issues a statement legalizing “offensive jihad” against all governments which resist Islamic rule, visa vi Sharia law. On 1/16/2011Badie was selected as MB Supreme Spiritual Guide. Within days the first protests began in Cairo. There have been repeated calls by the MB to eliminate Sadat’s treaty and attack Israel.

As we continue to monitor events in the region, Tunisia and Egypt are being joined by Yemen, Jordan, and Bahrain, with Saudi Arabia becoming very concerned. Just today, Friday February 18th, a new face not seen in Egypt for 40 years has emerged from Qatar. MB’s own Yussaf al-Qaradawi makes his return appearance as a new spiritual leader, dubbed Muslim Brotherhood’s spiritual leader, in Egypt. He is much more charismatic than Badie (not replacing Badie as “Supreme Spiritual Guide”) and has the potential of emulating the very charismatic Ayathollah Khomeni of Iran in 1979.

As I have reported last year, Turkey is currently being Islamized, dropping its long standing alliance with Israel, and has been entering talks with Muslim Brotherhood representatives as well.

A new day is indeed dawning in the Islamic world. In a matter of just a few weeks we shall see where all this is leading. Western media is still euphoric; spouting “democracy for everyone!” while misunderstanding that democracy in other Islamic revolutions has led to places like Iran, and Iraq’s Saddam Hussein regime.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb deciding what they are going to enjoy for dinner…One other thing. Keep your eye on Turkey.

Communist Invasion or Islamic Colonialism?

Sometime in the future the morning headline reads:

“America Invaded: New Totalitarian Government Established”

As you read the story that follows, you learn that Communists from America’s old arch nemesis, Russia have been successfully infiltrating American institutions for the last 30 years. The “invasion” was not the expected typical military type where the Red Army poses an amphibious assault accompanied by paratroopers, air strikes and hoards of infantry and hardware. No this invasion has been much more covert; so much so that the American public has even assisted the enemy in achieving a stealth invasion and consequent subversion of existing government and society.

Slowly, and steadily, agents were strategically placed in American media that were sympathetic to the Communist cause, and given orders to influence and subvert all information to enhance the public view of Communism on news and entertainment venues throughout the land. Leadership positions inside trade unions, civic organizations, and sports clubs had been infiltrated by dues paying members whom no one ever suspected of having subversive ideologies contrary to the American way of life. The United States Government played an impressive role in bringing these agents inside by issuing thousands of work and student visas to applicants from countries under Communist rule. Many never reported to class.

They were even allowed under American law to establish nonprofit organizations to propagate their message and raise funding and recruit new members for foreign military operations that would endanger Americans and our allies, both at home and abroad. These organizations brandish such titles as: “Communist Students of America (CSA)”, “North American Communist Trust” (NACT), “Communist Society of North America”(CSNA), and “Communist American Youth Association” (CAYA). These were but a few of the groups under the umbrella of the Communist Brotherhood, a known terrorist organization bent on spreading communism across the world and bringing the entire globe under Communist rule.

Government offices, departments and bureau’s, as well as private corporations, had been unwittingly hiring employees and contractors whose intended purpose was to infiltrate and network inside these institutions in order to bring them under control of the Party. Anyone who objected or tried to inform the public of what was happening was instantly relegated by the media to the “fringes” and labeled “Commiephobes”. Even the American military had been infiltrated by these tactics as peer pressure and fear of losing pensions, and positions kept officers and supervisors from exposing these Communist agents, even though they were openly propagating Communist ideology in briefings and classrooms.

Academic centers from major universities right on down to the elementary grade schools had been encouraged by the Department of Education, teachers unions and text book publishers to teach students the virtues of Communism while ignoring the human rights violations that perpetuate the reality of Communist run states. Many teachers and classrooms had been invited by local Communist Party leaders to bring students to participate in educational activities at known Communist education centers, which introduced them to the Communist ideology and invited the students to actually take part in some of the activities reserved strictly for Party members, including learning the credo of all faithful Party members. All the while, the message to the students is the superiority of Communism and the inferiority of all other forms of government.

“How could this have happened?” you ask yourself, stunned to find armed guards standing on your very own neighborhood street corner. Martial law has been declared and you awoke this morning to the brand new Peoples Republic of Amerika.

Sound ludicrous?

Of course. Everyone knows that Americans would never stand by and let Communists infiltrate and subvert our society and government, yes even help them by encouraging fellow Americans to “accept and tolerate” the Communist propaganda perpetrated throughout our media. Neither would our citizens, under the guise of “pluralism”, accept the indoctrination of our students and children as an “alternative belief system” through our schools. The moment parents witnessed their 5th grader reciting the Communist Manifesto and pretending to be Karl Marx or Joe Stalin, the local school board would be inundated with angry complaints demanding this ideology be stripped from the curriculum. (Well… one would hope this would be the case.)

However, this is precisely what has happened and is happening at this very moment. With one minor difference. Go back and read the “fictional” story and substitute the word “Communist” with the word “Islam” or Muslim”. Now it is no longer fictional. It is fact.

Islam has been infiltrating America for 30 years at every level. And while we have not yet awaken to find ourselves living under Sharia Law, that morning may not be far off.

It is fact that Islam has made deep inroads into American society via every major facet of culture, finance, education and government, as well as religion. We now see mainstream Protestant churches welcoming Islamic clerics for “interfaith dialogue” with their congregants. Mostly, “interfaith dialogue” is a euphemism for “Islam speaks, Christians listen”. A historic Christian church in Denver, CO added a Shiite Muslim cleric to their staff in 2004, to head up their “Abrahamic Initiative”, while maintaining his position as head of the Islamic Center of Ahl Al-Beit in west Denver. Huh?

Sharia compliant finance is fast becoming a standard policy of major banks and corporations worldwide. The White House just recently brought in a “White House Fellow”, Samir Ali, who has been working for the law firm Hogan Lovells – which claims to have advised on more than 200 Islamic finance transactions with an aggregate deal value in excess of $40 billion. Her duties in the Department of Homeland Security, according to the White House website: “She is responsible for counseling clients on mergers & acquisitions, cross-border transactions, Shariah-compliant transactions, project finance and international business matters. During her time with Hogan Lovells, she has been a founding member of the firm’s Abu Dhabi office.”

Other Obama Administration appointees include: Rashaad Hussain, Special Envoy to the Organization of Islamic Conference (the worldwide Islamic religion’s delegation to the United Nations); Kareem Shora, Advisory Council, DHS; Dalia Mogahed, Advisor to the President on issues facing the Muslim Community in the United States (an outspoken proponent of Sharia Law); Arif Alikhan, Assistant Secretary for Policy Development, DHS.

In Fort Hood, Texas, the political correctness in the US Army became obvious as Major Nidal Hasan declared jihad and killed 13 soldiers and wounded 43 more in the name of Allah, “the Beneficent, the Merciful”. Hasan had been speaking and telegraphing his future actions for months. While stationed outside Washington he attended the well known Dar al-Hijra (Land of Migration) Mosque, in Falls Church, VA. In 2007, at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, he gave a presentation entitled, “The Koranic World View As It Relates to Muslims in the U.S. Military”, in which he laid out the problems and misgivings of Muslims in the American military of the United States deploying Muslims to fight Muslims. He went on to quote both Koran and Hadith passages which instruct Muslims to fight non-Muslims and bring them under submission of Islam. On his slide number 48 he says, “We love death more then (sic) you love life”. His recommendation was this, “Department of Defense should allow Muslim Soldiers the option of being released as “Conscientious objectors” to increase troop morale and decrease adverse events.” (Nidal Hasan) [Emphasis added] After the shooting, several reports surfaced about people who voiced concern, or noticed these signs, and yet nothing was done for fear of “rocking the boat”.

[Out of this tragic loss of our noble soldiers, who perished under enemy fire (IMO), comes one small shred of satisfaction: Hasan, the great mujahidin, was not permitted the status of martyrdom, rejected by Allah, and taken down by an infidel woman nearly half his size, who pumped 3 rounds into him before he could shoot himself or anyone else. He will not walk again and faces the death penalty. Poetic justice indeed.]

Islamic network organizations abound in the US of which many have been tied to recruiting and financing terrorism. They enjoy the status and protections under American law as “charitable”, “research”, and “civil rights” organizations yet have the unified goal of replacing American law with Sharia, and thus the destruction of the United States as we have known it. These groups are as follows: MAYA (Muslim Arab Youth Association), AIG (American Islamic Group), ICW (Islamic Cultural Workshop), CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations), AMC (American Muslim Council), ICNA (Islamic Circle of North America), MPAC (Muslim Public Affairs Council), AMA (American Muslim Alliance), ISNA (Islamic Society of North America). These groups and many more are part of an umbrella group known as “Muslim Brotherhood” or “The Ikwan”.

Steven Emerson, perhaps America’s foremost authority on Islamic Terrorism, authored “American Jihad-The Terrorists Living Among Us”, in which he exposes these groups and their ties to Al-Qaida, HAMAS, Hizballah and Islamic Jihad, all four terrorist groups which are present in many cities across the United States. For instance, HAMAS is active in Kansas City, Dallas, Tucson, LA, New York, and Houston. Al Qaida is active in Ft. Lauderdale, Boston, Columbia, MO, and Arlington, TX. These groups are not new; many have been here dating back to the 1970’s.

Something that is fairly new is the appearance of charter schools sponsored or administrated by more benign Islamic groups. Many of these non-militant groups are of Turkish origin and can be traced to Fethullah Gulen, a Turk who lives in Saylorsburg, PA. Students receive a well disciplined education in the sciences and the arts, and also a generous dose of Islamic indoctrination. Many of these schools receive Federal money. Mr. Gulen can be associated with at least 85 of these charter schools in the United States. He is known here as an educator, and philanthroper, but in Turkey, he is known as the single most powerful influence pushing the historically secularized Turkish government toward Islamization. He escaped Turkey in 1998, fleeing to the US, avoiding charges of sedition against the government of Turkey. In 2002, the FBI was pressing to deport him, but the Bush administration stopped the process. Mr. Gulen has enjoyed the admiration of three US Presidents to date, and has been key in establishment of, not only Islamic charter schools, but aided by the Bush administration, the “Institute for Interfaith Dialogue” as well as a myriad of other groups such as “Raindrop Turkish House”, “Turquoise Council of American-Eurasians”(TCAE), The Gulen Institute, Atlas Foundation, and EbruTV. These organizations all form intercultural relationships with key American administrators, businesses, government offices on all levels, legislators, and civil services.

The formal description in Islam is “Dawa”. This is basically “peaceful jihad”. The strategy is this: Americans reject violent jihad (terrorism). However, they do seem to have great respect for smiling gentlemen in business suits from cultures and societies other than their own. The ultimate objective is the same as the jihadi’s, only the means are different. Establishment of Sharia, and the “Global Ummah” (Islamic community).

Another method that seems to be gaining popularity is unabashed barging into the public school system through textbooks which contain heavy Islamic influenced propaganda extolling the virtues of the “one true religion” and barely a passing mention to Christianity and Judaism.

If that isn’t bold enough take a look at this video in which a Massachusetts public school classroom was invited for a “field day at the Mosque” and then invited to pray with the Muslims.

Turkish Connection I

Note: This will be too lengthy a study to develop in one post, so I will break it up a bit into more digestible portions. This is the first in a three part series entitled “Turkish Connection”. When finished with this post be sure to read II and III.

Will Turkey Replace Israel as America’s Chief Ally in the Middle East?

The evidence confirming that possibility is becoming too great to ignore and I intend to expound upon it from a couple of different approaches.

After several months of hinting to Israel that the newest American administration may not be so supportive of the Jewish State, recent weeks have clarified that point with stark contrast to previous administrations going all the way back to Harry Truman and the declaration of Israel’s independence in 1948.

President Obama and his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, along with Joe Biden, James Baker and others in the Cabinet, have made it clear that Israel can no longer depend on the backing of the US Government.

The Left in the United States has long been known for its anti-Israel sentiment, even to the point of parroting “Palestinian” propaganda demonizing the Israeli response to repeated terrorist attacks upon civilians in schools, café’s , buses, and nightclubs not to mention random “potshots” by Palestinian rockets numbering in the thousands before Israel finally responded. The standard sentiment in the media is ‘Jews are fair game but Israel is not allowed to respond’. The Jewish State of Israel has become the “redheaded stepchild” of the West, and world leaders are loathe to utter a sincere sympathetic statement or any such moral support on her behalf.

The “Palestinian problem” is now Israel’s to solve unilaterally. The problem is not Israel’s handling of the situation. Nothing she does will be acceptable. The problem is this. Israel exists.

This sentiment is exhibited by most of Europe, South America, Africa, and all of Islam. Never mind the historical fact that the “Palestinians” were mostly Jordanian or Egyptian citizens prior to the invasion of Israel by five surrounding Arab states the day after she proclaimed independence. The UN Partition Plan would have forged two states; one Jewish, the other Arab. The Jews agreed. The Arabs did not and vowed to “drive the Jews into the Sea.” The only real change is where the lines are, and that only the result of Israel’s own security provisions.

That Partition Plan of 1947 was the result of much discussion, planning and compromise which characterized the expiration of the British Mandate issued by The League of Nations back in 1922 after the breakup of the 600 year old Ottoman Empire at the end of World War One. The Mandate charged Britain with governance of the territories from the Mediterenean Sea to Mesopotamia which included Palestine, Transjordan, and modern Iraq. It also reinforced the Balfour Declaration of 1917 citing Palestine or a portion thereof to become recognized as a future Jewish State. By the end of WW2 the Jews were more than glad to relocate to their ancient homeland of King David where Israel and Judah had prospered two millennia prior. The Jewish Diaspora expired.

The Ottoman Empire had been the seat of the Islamic Caliphate for 400 years. After the Ottoman’s (Sunni Muslim) conquered the Fatimid Dynasty (Shia Muslim) beginning in the 14^th century and reaching its own zenith in the 16^th century, Sunni Islam became the dominant school of theology, pushing Shiism into small pockets and containing it to Persia (Iran) where it continues to be dominant. The Ottoman Empire, allied with Germany, came to a close after the end of World War 1 when Great Britain was successful in driving the Turks from Palestine, Transjordan, Syria and most of the Arabian Penninsula., with the help of the Arab tribes who were loosely unified by Sir Thomas Edward Lawrence.

With the demise of the Ottoman Empire and the Turkish Revolution, a new Republic of Turkey was established and under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the Caliphate was abolished and a new secularized government began to develop a prosperous economic and political player on the world stage. Turkey managed to remain neutral during most of WW2, finally joining the Allies in 1945. The new Eurasian country became a strategic ally to the United States and Europe during the Cold War and has maintained good relations with the West for the most part since its inception.

Many have extolled the success of Turkey as a model for the Islamic world to emulate, successfully balancing an Islamic culture with a modern secularized government. It has, thus far, been the most Westernized Islamic country in the region.

However, a recent movement is afoot in Turkey to Islamize the government. This is not, for the most part, a radical militant movement such as Al-Qaida or Hamas, but a more subtle movement that is better served by maintaining a peaceful appearance and a smile, extending the hand of friendship and unity while educating the opponent and his children. This movement has a leader who has opposed a secular government in Turkey since the 1960’s and was arrested by the Turkish authorities in ’71 for “clandestine religious activities” after which he was harassed occasionally. He has met with Pope John Paul II, Greek Orthodox and other Christian leaders, as well as Jewish Rabbi’s in an effort to moderate, and “build bridges” between Islam and the West.

Fethullah Gulen, a Sunni Imam, has become a major figure in the United States since his ‘migration’ here in 1998, reportedly to seek treatment for diabetes. According to Rachel Sharon-Krespin writing for Middle East Quarterly, his “absence also enabled Gülen to escape questioning on his indictment in 2000 for allegedly promoting insurrection in Turkey in a series of secretly-recorded sermons.” It is also reported that although he has not lived in Turkey for the past 12 years, he has had tremendous influence there to the point of “Islamizing” the Turkish government, so much so that all government employees are Muslim. So much for secular government in Turkey…More on that…
