This is old news, but people I bring it up to are short on information concerning this event.
Details are sorely lacking concerning call sign “Extortion 17”, the ill-fated mission where a Chinook helicopter was shot down with 38 personnel on August 6, 2011, while coming into a “hot” landing zone where an Army Ranger unit had been engaged in a firefight for over 3 hours. Extortion 17 was over a year prior to the scandalous cover-up of events surrounding Benghazi, Libya, where 4 more Americans were killed by a terrorist attack at the American Consulate. Unlike Benghazi, there were no survivors of the shoot-down and subsequent crash. However, the Benghazi witnesses have yet to be asked to provide any accounts for that attack, and there are so many holes in the “official” report from the US Military on Extortion 17, that the families are demanding a Congressional inquest. The 1250 page report was published and then quickly pulled offline and Military personnel were requested to retrieve the CD version from the families, but “declined to avoid suspicion.” These excerpts from Human Events gives a brief backdrop for the video.

“Aaron, who was a member of SEAL Team Six, was aboard the doomed CH47-D Chinook helicopter,” she said…
A former team leader at SEAL Team Six who spoke to Human Events under the condition of anonymity said, “There is no question that Biden’s outrageous bragging outed the operators of SEAL Team Six. By throwing the spotlight on the Team, he put lives in jeopardy. The SEALs on Extortion One-Seven paid the price.”
All passengers on board were killed which included 22 American special operations personnel, three members of the U.S. Air Force, five Army National Guardmen and Army Reserve crewmen, seven Afghan commandos and one Afghan interpreter.
Biden publicly confirmed that it was SEAL Team Six, who raided and killed Osama Bin Laden just two days prior, Vaughn said. “My son called to tell me there was chatter about revenge.”
The vice president’s outburst is unacceptable, she said. “Biden created a media circus surrounding a highly secretive team. He should be in prison for high crimes and treason.”

Jerry Boykin, along with many other retired military, US Representatives, and many of the parents of the men KIA in this mission. The government response to their questions is an outrage.
As the father of a U. S. Marine who has served with honor in Afghanistan, I can assure you that if my son had died there I would not rest until I knew all the facts surrounding his loss. Right on the money again, Kirk.
Kirk, I am sorry more people don’t view your newsletter. This information is important. Our only hope, besides the Lord, is a strong response from Congress to assist our American families in such loss and pain. When will they get to impeachment, it is so evident it needs to happen? It took two years for Nixon, it may take longer with this administration. “Peace He gives…not as the world gives” (please make a note of my new e-mail address.)
Holly, I am afraid that there is not enough salt in any Congressional Leadership to even feign an impeachment. I think they will be content to sit on the rim and watch the country disappear in the whirlpool!
There are too many unanswered questions and this incident definitely needs looking into. It turns my stomach to think that these warriors had to meet their death in such a manner and the military will not give correct facts about this operation
First why were Afghans replaced at the last minute against all protocol for spec ops. Could they have an explosive consealed on their person??
The military calls this a lucky shot.
Second , Afghan military is given all data concerning missions that spec-ops undertake For that reason alone one has to feel something does not smell right.
Third, Extortion 17 was to go into the valley to aid a ranger detachment that had been in a fire fight for 3 hours. why do we send 32 troops to aid them.
from my gatherings normally we have access to air support with gunships.
I feel this mission was to extract the Rangers . If that was the case that Chinook was capable of handling 38 personnel. There would not have been room on that chopper for the rangers .
Fourth, why did the satellite transmission go out at this time and no cover fire supplied for the LZ, Military’s answer was there were around BS to that sir. Extortion 17 asked for permission to fire on the enemy on the rooftops that were clearly visible The answer. just people hanging out their laundry.
Fifth, why were these parents told that the bodies were burned beyond recognizion and had to be cremated when clearly the wreckage was not burned that bad and was scattered over a wide area. In a crash where bodies were burned that badly, the aircraft would have to be contained and bodies in one spot.
Mr. Vaughn said he was given video of his son out of the aircraft fighting the enemy.So should one believe all bodies had to be cremated
Sixth why was the black box not recovered>> some say ,this aircraft did not carry a black box. If that was so why did the military state that it got swept away in a flash flood.. Black boxes have been retrieved from harder places to reach than in the desert..
Seventh If the mission was suppose to reinforce or evacuate the Rangers then why hasn’t any info been released regarding their situation?? How far
were they from Extortion 17 when it went down.

Ninth why was ani slamic imam .allowed to pray over our soldiers and after an interpation he was condemming them to hell . all the body parts were placed incoffins and returned to their parents , As one WARRIORS mother stated ,It was appalling to know that these coffins with American flags draped over them ,not knowing if an afghan or American parts were in these coffinshitty acting to these parents
Their are many questions to be answered, so as patroits we must stand behind these parents and demand an investigation.
My take on this whole matter is it is a retribution for Seal Team Six killing of
OBL. these people were ambushed for a political agenda. nothing more
